East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Samantha Cassidy

There was still the expression of horror on Samantha's features as she looked at the sultry dress that Nadya had pressed into her palms. It was hard to imagine herself squeezing into the dress that would surely expose more of her skin than she'd ever done before. It was a struggle to convince herself to look up, to take in the woman's words. It was, even though she wouldn't dare admit it aloud, incredibly appealing to consider learning more about the world that she'd been unwillingly forced into. Once she'd turned, she'd fled from the fae that had created her, and had yet to allow herself to return to any like her. Now, she was being offered a ticked to learn about the world that she'd fled. After all, it wasn't as though these girls were the fae that had tortured her. She was one of them now, and she might as well make an attempt to learn about what that entailed. But it wasn't until Nadya voiced an opinion on her clothing that Samantha visibly reacted at all. She glanced down at her clothing. The simple brown hoodie and jeans were a staple of her wardrobe, and the red converse were a relic from her human days. "What's wrong with my clothes?" She found herself asking aloud, as though that was the most important aspect of the conversation at hand.

She hardly had time for an answer before the attention was turned from mer to the panther beside them. Samantha knew very little about the were, though she considered him a loyal enough companion. Sam's fingers clutched at the fabric of the dress as she waited his decision. Despite the feline being entirely a stranger to her, the young faery still expected him to consent to shift and continue on being her guide into the supernatural world that she had tried so intensely to avoid until now. An audible gasp came from her lips as the panther rose and carried himself towards the floor. The young woman couldn't deny the immediate sense of betrayal that accompanied the loss of her companion, and it was that that brought girl's attention fully to the dress in her hands. "Fine," She murmured. "Where can I change?" The young woman hardly knew what she was getting herself into, and it was that thought that brought her attention fully on the woman in front of her. She couldn't help but be intimidated by the Were in front of her who seemingly held the key to all the answers she needed about her supernatural life. "I'm not agreeing to be a dancer yet..." Samantha warned, somehow finding the courage to look up to meet the woman's gaze . "But if putting this on means that I get answers to my questions, then give me a place to change." After all, it wasn't as though the young fairy had a better place to go, anyway.
