The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I keep going to the river to pray. Willow had been so lost in her thoughts that she hadn't noticed the small group of people all but ganging up on someone in till she heard voices. Her head snapped up quickly as her driest green eyes landed on a group that had formed a circle around a guy, Willow looked around at them and spotted the stake in one of the hands. Hunters and a vampire. Willow wasn't sure what had made her feel the need to help this vampire, she blamed it on Isolt making her feel like not all vampires were out to eat her. Willow had always been a shy girl and would always avoid confrontation, only this time she ran right into it. Just has one of the hunters was flicking what she could only guess was holy water she shoved herself infront of the vampire and took most of the spray at herself. If anything he got a light misting of it, Willow stood there blinking her eyes focused on the hunters her back to the vampire. "It is NOT nice to holy water someone. I mean come on the vampire has more manners than you do!" Where this little out bust came from Willow had no clue, she turned to the vampire a sheepish smile on her lips, "No offence..." Turning her full attention back to the hunters would had now completely stopped there attack and were looking at her like she had grown a new head. "Step away from him ma'am, he is dangerous!" That statement caused Willow to re-consider what she was doing, what if this man had killed a bunch of people and they were just doing what was right. No she thoughts to herself as her face hardened and she tried to look intimidating, "So far he has proved less dangerous to me than him!" Points to the one who had thrown the holy water. She heard a groan from her left and as she whipped her head around to see what the problem was she saw a hunter coming full tilt at her and the vampire stake in hand, without even thinking of what that stake could do to her little human body Willow moved right in front of him blocking his way to the vampire the look on her face clearly not happy as he just missed her with the stake. "DONT TOUCH HIM!" She shoved the hunter back watching as the hunters glared at the vampire behind her and then back at her. Clearly they couldn't tell if they should leave or just pick her up and move her, they easily could but she would only go kicking and screaming. The leader nodded his head before looking back at the vampire, "We will be back, won't have the human to protect you forever vamper." She watched as they all started walking off her arms crossed over her chest the hair on her forehead sticking to it from the holy water, great now she was a mess.
