East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The young witch should have been apprehensive at the notion of meeting his family - especially when she was quite certain that she was the epitome of the type of girl you didn't bring home. The girl had to admit that she was extremely inquisitive of the siblings that the man still had alive, having already briefly met the dead ones. A small part of her hoped that, having already seen a good portion of the fellow's dark past, they would hardly be nearly as judgmental as a small part of her perhaps feared. Still, Serafina was curious enough that when Davante had so candidly mentioned that his younger brother happened to work at the establishment just across the street from them, she had all but demanded they enter the burlesque. The young female was hardly concerned about the fact that the establishment was little more then a glorified strip club, especially considering how his recently learned magic seemed to be quite steadfast on fostering the cardinal skill the witch so embodied. Lust showed her face with increasing frequency, though neither parties seemed to mind her presence much. In a peculiar way, acknowledging that which Serafina was had allowed her to blossom, becoming more comfortable within her pale satin skin.

Serafina paused upon the threshold of the extravagant establishment, her blue-grey gaze brushing over the small group that congregated in front of the stage. Her attention briefly shifted over the female that danced for the thirsty patrons below her.
Nearly immediately, Serafina could tell that the female in her scandalous outfit was hardly human. It was a sensation she had only received once before. The young witch remembered it all too well. It reminded her quite distinctly of that flying creature she had encountered within her shop - one that had nearly strangled her in his efforts to pluck the same sapphire stone that glowed softly around her neck. Her eyebrows raised ever so slightly, her stormy gaze only briefly shifted to her companion, inquisitively gauging the man's reaction to the show that they had quite literally stumbled within. Jealousy had always been one of Serafina's vices, if she was particularly honest with herself. This was surely no exception. Davante was surely no exception. Either way, the girl reminded herself that she was here with the soul intent of meeting his sibling, a fact which drove her onwards to find them a seat at a small table on the fringe of the wanton congregation.

The girl settled at the edge of her seat, her legs crossed in a fashion that was far more feminine then usual. Her intent was entirely to brush her leg against that of her companion as the female leaned forward, her elbows settled on the edge of the table in a way that increased her cleavage. "Well, this was certainly not what I had expected." She commented to the warlock at her side, a mischievous simper dancing across her sweetheart lips. She was hardly given much of an opportunity to indulge the male with her attention until their waitress for the night arrived. The girl was young, perhaps no older then Serafina herself but there was something distinctly naive about her. An uncertainty that was accompanied with that same taste in Serafina's mouth. "Well well well, what do we have here...and what are you?" She inquired, her head tilting to the side in a inquisitive fashion - one much akin to the way a feline might eye her prey.
