East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

I glanced down at the black tutu-esque skirt I was wearing and grinned. I really did enjoy wearing this outlandishly attention seeking outfit, I won't lie. Glancing back up at Amaya, I shrugged. "People should hold onto their stuff better." I gave her a teasing look, enjoying that I'd taken her hat away.

I'd never heard of the fancy drinks she referred to, but I had a feeling I was missing out. Her comment caused me to laugh softly, "That's fine. I can do without dancing, this bomb sounds intense." I was taken off guard as she swiped the had suddenly from my head. I checked to make sure my wig was still straight, and then shook my head with a grin. She'd distracted me by chewing on that little lip ring of hers. "Ya. I'm really not even sure I'm supposed to be here." I stopped then and placed hand over my mouth with a little giggle. I'd almost forgotten. "Oops. Ya...I found an invitation someone had dropped...I thought it sounded fun, so I popped in. I'm actually staying in a hotel at the moment" The mention of the hotel reminded me about Nick...oh shit, Nick.

You likely could see the sudden alarm on my face as I finished speaking. My eyes becoming somewhat sad. "I'm so sorry, I forgot something I promised. I'm going to have to rain check on that Car Bomb...but...hey..." I leaned towards Amaya then, with a soft smile. I reached with one hand and pulled my phone out of my bra (Cause I was too lazy to bring a purse I knew I'd lose). With my other hand I reached for Amaya's hand, and made to place the phone into her palm. "Maybe my Captain wouldn't be against sharing her number?" My gaze was hopeful, and I really did feel terrible for cutting our night short, as well as having forgotten about Nick...but maybe I can make this all work out in the end.
