The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Sebastian EllingtonI need to feel you again, feel my lips on your skin
for one night I could be him, no, I could be better
Sebastian was, for perhaps the first time in a long while, entirely oblivious of the young woman's intent as she inquired to whom their host was for the evening's festivities. Usually, he was entirely used to directing his full attention upon his so called victims, skilled in the art of seducing with the intent only of a one luxurious evening, but this - this admiration she seemed to hold for his profile fell within the realm of subtleness that Sebastian usually failed to employ. Instead, his crystalline gaze swept over the congregation at large, searching for the familiar sight of one particular individual if only to fulfill the young woman's wish. At his gesture of the female, however, Sebastian's gaze fully returned to the onlooking form of his companion, watching as she beheld the auburn haired vampire before his gaze joins hers in glancing upwards at the flickering of the light. Unfortunately, unlike the were-creature beside him, Sebastian could offer only the smallest of shrugs at this needless display of power. He hardly found Isolt nor the loves of her life incredibly interesting. At least - not with Carolina within the same room. The demure vampire could keep her idealistic notions of love and copulation. He would choose this kinetic spark with the blonde pirate over such ideas any evening of the week.
The vampire watched as her attention slowly returned towards him - that breathtaking smile still dancing over her sweet heart lips. A smug glance crossed his features as her eyes momentarily wandered before the girl leaned into him, close enough that he could feel the warmth of her breath against the cold pallor of his skin. His head tilted ever so slightly, his mouth leaning into her neck in a fashion that even he was unable to deny himself. His voice was low and husky as he muttered softly in return, "Don't worry, your secret is safe with me. Besides....that sounds like a good night to me." He paused, his tounge gingerly caressing the sharp bit of his fang. His instincts yearned to close that small distance between the pair, to sink his teeth in to the pristine, silky flesh of her neck. He could practically hear the pounding of her blood as it coursed through her veins, coaxing him to her. For a brief moment, Sebastian closed his eyes, smelling the scent that clung to her, stilling those nearly animalistic urges that yelled at him. Oh if only she knew just how dangerous of a game she could be playing.
His bright blue gaze flickered open at the girl's movement away from him, his eyes taking in her fair features and yet her inquiry caused little more then a shrug to cross his shoulders. "I was invited by our fair hostess herself. I'm afraid there is no adventure to how I came here...but...that hardly means tonight can't conclude with one, hm Captain?" He inquired, his gaze steadfast upon her brilliant hazel eyes. He was perhaps hoping that their intoxicating dance would continue to some fashion - perhaps even beyond the confines of this room. And yet, despite his wishes, despite his needs, it had to be her choice - he simply didn't enjoy it otherwise. "Tell me, Carolina, what would you call a 'good time'?" He inquired, after all, if there was any one thing Sebastian was well able to provide, it was just that.
