The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

When Nadya's teeth meet air she seeks him out again, her eyes quickly following his movements, long tail acting as a rudder to help her own form pivot about. It was quite like watching the clash of the titans, the sounds of spitting snarls, the grunts as skin parts and blood spills, claws and teeth clashing with sounds like tiny swords. Perhaps Nadya's only saving grace was the fact that cats could practically twist in their skin as Tobias tried to clamp down on her scruff. His weight pressed against her own, attempting to push her to the ground in submission which Nadya was unwilling to give without a fight. Twisting her body about kept Tobias from keeping a good grip, his teeth raking against her neck, though his claws made impact to her shoulders, blood trickling readily over her coat to drip to the water soaked ground around them. At least no one could say she was a baby, too afraid of a fight, a wimp to pain and of no real contender...so far she had been doing well taking the blows and dealing them back.
Tobias still had about an extra eighty pounds on her in this form and an extra eighty pounds in animal was muscle. His weight was an advantage and her knees unable to fight against the constant pressure for too long slowly gave as she twisted about onto her back beneath him, her back legs curling up to repeatedly kick violently, her claws scrapping the length of his underbelly, teeth gnashing up at his face as her front paws slashed up in defiance at him. His words in her mind were the devil's advocate that had played against her valiant attempts at distancing herself from her packmates, trying to consider them as less than Weres, that nothing would have ended differently even if they had known who her brother was hiding them from. "No it's not!!" She had kept that guilt at bay if only just barely, seeking to distract herself with other things and now Tobias flooded her mind with it and it caused Nadya's actions to become slightly more fervent, snarling more viciously. However, the anger that had overwhelmed her slowly ebbed with guilt, sorrow at feeling she had no pack now, and that emotion that had driven her uncontrollable change left.
Black coat melted away to skin, marred with scratches that slithered fresh blood along her body and face, laying still on her back beneath Tobias, each of his massive paws beside her head as she looked up at him with glassy eyes of held back tears. Suddenly her fist came up, punching him in the nose before she scrambled out from under him. "You're a horrible Second, Tobias...you could have run. But now you have what you want...you're with Aiden now, that's what you wanted and I took you to him." Nadya snatched a pool towel off one of the chairs and wrapped it around her under her arms, caring about her nude form only in case strangers came up to the roof. She glared back at Tobias defiantly, a few stray tears slowly falling down her cheeks and passing over the scratches on her face. In their wake the red lines slowly closed and faded, leaving only smudged blood that appeared not her own as Nadya wiped her face of the tears...the rest of her body would have to heal normally as any other Were.
