East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Frost continues to wander smoothly down the street, waiting for his companions to reach him before speaking to Alexis. It is unfair, perhaps, to tease the drunken women and yet her chances of remembering any of the night, much less this portion of the conversation was decidedly slim and as such he sees no need to uphold his usual decorum. His sense of humour is, for the most part, decidedly dry, evidentially much the same as Alexanders own appears to be. Alexis' continued attempts at jokes seeming to do little to stir a reaction from either man and yet he drunken attempts at humour were not as entirely on point as she believed them to be. That, if anything, was perhaps a little more amusing then the girl herself. His reference to Alexander as a modern day James Bond seems to catch His Highness off guard, the older man seeming to consider it a moment before offering his own retort, Frosts eyes lifting ever so slightly beneath that mop of white hair, lip quirking in amusement. Black Beauty? At least his own attempts had been somewhat believable- though Alexis seemed to disagree.

For a moment the equine simply allows her to finish before offering a sigh that is far more dramatic than his usual disposition, head shaking softly as if her words are a bother to him, arms folding across his chest as he continues to stroll easily beside her and she praises Alexanders 'tingly' hands. Whatever they did with Alexanders hands in their free time was hardly his concern, nor did he find he particularly enjoyed the images Alexis' mind was content to recall. Hmm, evidently she was Bond Girl entirely.

"Alexander is simply his cover name Alexis, to prevent his fans from continually bothering him as they would if they knew he was James."

He spoke the words smoothly, calmly, as if they are the entire truth, what little of his violet gaze can be seen meeting her own in assurance before she stumbles against Alex once more and asks after his own drunken exploits. If the history books held any truth to them then Alexander had, at one stage, rather enjoyed more then a casual drink- the man's answer of interest to the stallion as well.

"Yes Alex, enlighten us, what happens when you drink a little to much?"

He meets the man's gaze ever so briefly, the simper that touches his normally apathetic features indicating that he has more than an idea in regards to Alex's past in this area and yet he is content to let the man explain it himself before Alexis proceeds to blunder through her own drunken stupor to actually manage to process Alexander's early quip.

"Oh my God, Alexis, you can't just ask someone why their white."

His voice shifts ever so slightly as if he is genuinely put out by her unintentional mention of his colour, the man having warped the words more then she had ever intended in a rather amusing effort to embarrass her only further before offering a shrug of his shoulders.

"For what it's worth James is correct, I was the star of Black Beauty, my acting talents are simply superior to the point I can pull off the classics. I just painted myself black for my starring role."

He paused once more, the group having finally reached Alexanders Café, the stallion waiting for Alexander to unlock the door before simply stepping forward, content to let himself in before collapsing into the nearest chair, one leg folding over the other.

"Speaking of black, I do like my coffee that way, no milk."

He words are evidently directed towards Alexander, though his attention remains upon the nearest pot of sugar cubes as it always does, pulling them smoothly towards him before plucking one from within the jar, savouring the overly sweet taste and perhaps his single, equine indulgence as he reclines within the chair.

I'll make you a deal, you make me a coffee and I'll stop eating your sugar cubes and go home- you have to keep Alexis though, she isn't coming with me. You should get her some water.

He had no desire to deal with a sick woman for the rest of the evening, she was Alexander's concern, the man leaning forward once more to pluck another sugar cube from the jar on the table- content to eat all of them despite Alexander having told him many times that he both disliked it and that it was hardly healthy for horses in excess either. Poor Bucky must have had a rather bland diet.

"Sit down before you fall down, Alexis."
