East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Of late, the man's family and subsequent pack issues had quite overwhelmed the other responsibilities he had taken upon himself, chiefly his own self imposed promise to ensure the vampire before him was taken care of. Deep down, he still blamed himself for her demise, enough so that the only way Tetradore found he could rid himself of that everlasting guilt was to keep a close eye upon her, even if it was from a distance. Lately, however, Tetradore had even failed at that task. His emerald eyes remained steadfast upon the woman with baited breath, all too concerned for her response. There was quite a visible relaxing of the man's tense shoulders the second that Isolt confirmed the man had entirely left her alone. A soft breath left his lips before a small shrug crossed his shoulder. "Not yet, he's threatened to. He hurt Raven fairly badly." Tetradore responded, shaking his head in the process. He strove so particularly hard to ensure the trio were kept safe and yet, for all his efforts, Tetradore had particularly little to show for it. "I thought it was best to move her somewhere I could ensure she was protected."

And yet, despite the effect that Nadya's absence surely had upon the vampiric woman, Tetradore was all too willing to not allow the entirety of the conversation linger on his own troubles of late. After all, there was an all too present despondency to the woman that Tetradore found himself unable to ignore. Despite how absent the man might have been within her own life, he had always done his best to see to it that there was some happiness to be found within hers - even if it took months and mounds of money to see it come to fruition. His emerald gaze remained steadfast upon the woman as she searched for the words to describe her own particularly taxing situation of late. A small frown crossed the man's face as she admitted that things certainly hadn't been well and yet, Tetradore hardly interjected, instead waiting patiently as she continued despite the emotion that wracked not only her voice but her frame.

Somehow, he found it difficult to believe the vampire would simply leave the auburn haired woman, not when Tetradore himself remained assured that she was the kind of catch worth striving to keep. He had watched the way that Damon had quite literally exuded an air of protectiveness at their Halloween event. Still, he could tell this abrupt disappearance had distraught the girl quite enough and so, even though he'd once vied for Isolt for himself, Tetradore found himself offering the most unlikely of assistance. "Maybe he just got into some trouble Isolt? Maybe the Hunters got to him. You know how they can be. I don't think he would have just left you." He reached up, his fingertips gingerly brushing against the girl's cheek. "If you want, I can have Tobias search for him, he has the uncanny ability to track anyone down."

Isolt's insistence, however, caused the man's gaze to momentarily drift towards the still piping hot meal placed in front of him. He could hardly deny its appeal, the dish far more delightful than even what the Ark served and yet, he failed to immediately give into such gnawing desire. Instead, his attention towards back to the vampire at her comment. His mouth opened to reply only for Tetradore to pause, his eyebrows furrowing for but a split second before recognition and horror spread across the man's features. He glanced up towards the vampire, his voice carrying rushed lyrics, "Isolt, ru-" The word never quite got through his throat before a cry left his lips, the shift overcoming the man's body in a fury of ripped clothing and snapping bones and tendons. It had been sometime since it had overcome him, since it had been forced of him. He'd almost forgotten how different it was from the pull of the moon or his own, natural, giving in. There was nothing liberating about this.

The ebony panther shook off the sweat that coated his frame, his fur raised along his spine as he paced in front of the female vampire. His tail whipped from side to side in his discontent, his jaws parted to reveal those sharp canines and deep within his throat an occasional growl reverberated. And yet, even over the noise of the panther himself, came the all too sickeningly familiar laughter as his vampire mistress and Isolt's maker stepped into the entryway of the tavern, her lips pressed in a devious simper. "Hello, my pets."
