East

The east side of the city is the very heart of Sacrosanct - it's unique skyline is a clash between modern sky rises and small Victorian-inspired storefronts. In the heart of downtown, the sleek colored glass buildings reign supreme though their old-world roots can be seen in the most peculiar places from the lamp post styled electric street light to the stone sidewalks. The old world architecture slowly returns the further from downtown you travel, however. It's here that magic thrives, it hums in every stone and can be felt in every breath. Often, newcomers to the city may become overwhelmed by such sensations but, eventually, it becomes an ever-present feeling that's hardly noticed.

Crishlyn was intrigued by the child vampire, there was something dark and dangerous within her. Then again things with the most angelic faces were usually the most dangerous things one could encounter. The possibility of danger didn't scare the succubus, it made her want to dig deeper. She liked knowing what made beings tick, because then she could further discover how to manipulate them to her liking.

She could hear the frustration in the girl's voice when she spoke of Sebastian. It was cute in a way, like any child she just wanted someone to play with. The girl was no normal child though; she was something that should have never existed. She did exist though, and it seems that she has existed for years. Crishlyn decided then to play along and see what the child was capable of.

"That's not very kind of him."

Her voice was sweet, almost too sweet. It had been some time since she's had any experience with a child. True, this child has lived many lives, but she was more childlike than anything else. She felt the air around her change for just a moment, and she knew that the girl had something to do with it. It made Crishlyn wonder what gifts were wrapped in this beautiful package.

Crishlyn stood, her hand extended towards Anna once she offered her name. That smirk once again appearing on her lips as she glanced up at the hotel. A quiet laugh passed as her gaze slid back to the little one. Yes, tonight was going to be quite interesting. The monster inside her stirred, it had been such a long time since she had been in the state of mind this girl was still quite clearly in. Maybe fate wanted to draw it out, maybe there would be need of a monster soon.

"I'm Crishlyn. It's lovely to meet you, Little Dove. Come. I get the feeling there is someone in there who's dying for a friend."

With that she started walking towards the hotel, her fingers gripping Anna's firmly. She could sense the power within the other, and she wanted to let her let it flow freely. Her tongue brushed over her lips as her icy blues slid to her new companion. It didn't take them long to reach the desired destination, the hotel. Crishlyn and Anna breezed by the front desk, the woman there was paying no attention to who was coming and going her nose was pressed into a tabloid. That suited the succubus just fine, and they quickly stepped into the elevator.

"They're getting a divorce."

The woman at the front desk jumped at Crishlyn's voice, and with a giggle and a wave of her fingers the elevator doors closed. She still held onto the child vampire's hand, her curiosity only growing as the elevator climbed higher. Once they hit the tenth floor the doors slid open revealing a hallway empty of any hotel guests. She pulled Anna out beside her and slowly walked through the hallway, her focus on feeling the energy emanating from each room. The succubus quickly found what she was looking for, a woman whose sexual energy was high, but whose child was keeping her from living like she was in high school again. She lifted her hand and knocked on their door, and once again she felt the monster stir.

Crishlyn smiled at the woman once she pulled the door open, giving her a view of her deathly sharp fangs. She heard her gasp and she took a quick step back as she looked from Crishlyn to little angelic Anna. 'C-can I help you?' the stranger asked, her voice shaking as she tried to figure out what their intentions were. Before any other words were uttered, Crishlyn lunged towards the woman, her fingers closing tightly around her neck. Just then the little girl wandered out of the bathroom, a doll gripped to her chest tightly. Her pretty brown eyes widened once she saw how Crishlyn was handling her mother.

"Look, Anna, I got you a lovely new doll."
