I can tell within seconds that she's a shy girl, the kind who will blush at a compliment and likes down home manners. Good thing they're so deeply ingrained in me that they're pretty much second nature. I wouold have thought she'd lose interest and go looking for a tall dark and handsome kind of guy, the king with the business suit and the fancy sports car, but no, here she is talking to me and actually looking interested. Back at the bar, I could attract anyone, but then, they knew what and who I was and that power was all that drew them in. Here, I'm a nobody and yet the prettiest girl in town is sitting here talking to me. Luck must be on my side.

"Pleasure's all mine."

I murmur back smoothly as I take another shot of Tequila. the red flush against her cheeks draws a brief glance but nothing more. I can't show her just how riled up that gets me, seeing the blood rush to the surface of her skin, now, can I? I'm no young vamp who can't control his thirst and it takes a lot to even draw my fangs out of hiding most days but there's something I just love about the way a woman blushes. The power of her blood that can color her cheeks in mere seconds. she goes quiet for a while but I can feel her gaze following me, studying my features. If I had blood vessels under my skin still, this would probably be my turn to blush.

When I ask about what brought her here, I'm almost surprised that she chooses to answer. Most woman wave off a stranger's curiosity at this point, figuring they must be shady or looking to see if she's alone. Her answer makes sense.

"That, it does."

I agree with a smirk. She goes whimsical when she talks about the houses here and the age of it all. I titl my head, liking the way she looks when she's like this. She likes old stuff, huh? Guess she can't complain much about me then. I nod.

"Age is beauty."

She looks around the bar as if seeing it ll getting built right before her eyes. Then she asks me a question.

"I'm actually looking for someone and I heard rumors that he came through here....an old friend."

I won't give her the gruesome details, how the hunter I'm looking for took my last living relic, my protege, Alice. He staked her while she was sleeping, fucking coward. Now I won't rest until his head is on my wall. None of these malicious thoughts show in my impassive features, though. I've always been quite good at hiding my true intentions.
