kissing death and loosing my breath
A small simper was poised upon the woman's ruby lips, a fleeting glimpse of amusement at their battle of words. It was only natural that the young woman had read the Harry Potter series from cover to cover. In her youth she had even attempt the spells written there with in, having been desperate enough to see if a magical wand would some how give her the gift of magic that she had been missing her whole life. Naturally, it hadn't it gave Serafina the insight she needed to understand the banter between them. Her gaze shifted to the warlock before her, her smile brightening ever so slightly at the compliment she is offered. She held no reservation in letting his fingertips embrace her hand, having touched far more of him then simply palms before. Her slate colored eyes remained steadfast upon the man as he brought her hand to his lips, his kiss featherlight against the back of her hand. She had hardly forgotten the 'date' she had been given, one that had ended in the collapse of a building and a vampire hunting her down just as she remembered the potion she had brewed for him and the salve that had brought him back to life. "Don't forget." She whispered softly, her gaze intent upon him, as if daring him to let her down again.

Azrael's voice brought Serafina back to the awkward engagement at hand, a small giggle leaving her lips as she shook her head ever so slightly. They were ridiculous at best, when it came to the two of them together though Serafina didn't account it to much. Instead she released Davante from her grip, letting him take his leave if it was what he so wished, leaving the girl alone again with the Dark Hunter at her side. A small shrug crossed her shoulders at his inquiry, her words chosen carefully, "I'd like to at least get paid before you decide to kill him." She remarked with the slightest of jests. Death when it came to Azrael was something she likely took far more lightly then she should have, not believing that he would be the one to put a blade through her chest. She hardly expected for the curly haired woman to make her presence known, entirely taken off guard by the small group that approached her. Her gaze shifted between the three individuals, entirely oblivious of the leopard she'd once frozen in a warehouse to save a cornered witch. It wasn't until the female declared her, her witch that Serafina made the connection between the female and the lupine that occasionally accompanied her.

"Ah...er...hello." She voiced, clearly startled by the group she found herself the center of attention of. She offered them a weak smile before gesturing loosing with her hand in an almost dismissive nature. "I'm fine." She was hardly aware of the oncoming presence of the ivory haired man, her attention steadfast upon the group in front of her. It wasn't until she heard Azrael's voice that her attention was dragged back towards him, her eyes widening ever so slightly with the noted presence of the cross bow within his hands. Serafina hardly had a moment to protest before she found herself pulled into his arms, startling her just as much as Raven had. She had never found it feasible that Azrael might be inclined to dance with her willingly, much less touch her. Her figure moved effortlessly with his grasp, following his lead as her fingers encased around his neck, her grey tinged gaze intently watching the man in front of her, despite his obvious distraction from her. For once, she allowed herself to be swept away from the world that surrounded her. She allowed him to twirl her in a circle, hearing the crash of glass and lights behind them. Her attention turned, a small frown crossing her feminine features. She had known that she was taking a risk in keeping company with the dark hunter companion but she hadn't imagined that her familiar might somehow be harmed in the risks she was taking.

Her gaze danced over the group they have moved away from, the outcome of their dance quite clear. A soft sigh left her feminine lips as she stepped out of his grasp, her head shaking ever so slightly in the process. There was an almost wistful tone to her soprano voice as she spoke softly, "I would have much rather preferred the suit and sans the cross bow." She reached out, gently shoving him within the direction of the door. "Go, I have to clean up your mess." She muttered with the slightest hint of disdain. Raven would never let her live this down and, quite frankly, despite her continued apathetic attitude towards the were, she could not deny the bond between them, the one that tugged at her emotions, demanding she ensured the lupine was indeed okay, given the events of things.
