Everything just did not feel right at all. The other Weres were strangely quiet. Their presence hardly attracted her attention. It wasn't until she was forced into the silver harness up on the table did she look at the shadowed cages. The very thought of Weres being kept as pets made her sick. She was aware that Tobias and Tetradore were forced in such a manner, but still the very thought that this continued made her feel terrible. While Justin forced her into the silver harness a high pitched whine came from her as the painful metal seared into her skin. Seeing Tobi begin to stalk towards the vampire made the lupine turn her own head around snarling at her own captor. It was the sudden harsh pull of the harness, bringing her form upwards, that caused her to whine again as the metal dug more into her skin. She was pinned on the table unable to move at all while she watched her vampire come to the other's aide as both of them forced whatever hold they had over Weres on Tobi. As she watched her spotted companion recoil violently away from the vampires she managed to throw scissors, brushes, and a broom towards the vampires to help him escape. For a moment she thought for sure he would be able to get away, but when he leapt into a stool and Riley managed to hold onto his scruff all thoughts of an escape were dashed. With Riley managing to have control over Tobias Justin came back towards her with the tools she had thrown at him and placed them on the table. "Was that you throwing those objects at us? You know better than that." Justin would take the brush and drag it through her fur once more, shaking his head while he prepared the canine for her own bath.
Although the feeling of the bristle of the brush was oddly enough quite a comfortable thing to feel her entire attention was more so on the vampire leading the cat towards the bath. Raven was more than well aware that Tobi did not like the water â€" at all. It didn't matter if the water was warm or cold, coming down on him soft or hard, he despised water. A soft whine came out of her again which resulted into the chilling sensation of a vampire's hand stroking the side of her face murmuring softly to her.
"There, there your friend will be fine." Shaking her head back and forth she did not care what was being said to her. Tobi would not be fine. While Tobi was desperately trying not to get in the water she felt her frame being lifted once again, the silver harness still around her, as she was placed within the warm bath near the leopards'. Raising her head to look over the side she noticed Justin bringing in another silver harness and putting it on him, forcing the cat to stand in the warm water. As she thrashed around her tub, trying to get out, she felt two hands rest on either side of her shoulder as that familiar voice forced her to stop moving. Unable to get herself free in order to get him out of the water she sat down, watching as Justin began to wash her. She could sense his fear and it was painful to watch as he began to shut down, his breathing growing heavier. When his golden eyes met her own she would move her head side to side until he caught her eyes again. Her voice held a reassuring, calm tone, trying to get him to at least focus on something other than the water.
"Tobi...focus on me, just look at me. Everything is going to be okay, I promise."
While the hot water was splashed on her face her eyes closed losing sight on him. It was the sound of the wet cat being lifted out of the water did she let out a breath she wasn't aware that she was holding. While Justin began to rinse the soap out of her thick fur she watched as Riley began to dry the jungle cat with a towel. As her own wet form was taken out of the bath she felt her harness tightening as she was chained to a wall on top of a table. Warm air was all she could feel as Justin began to dry her off with a towel. Seeing Tobi at a more relaxed state and out of the water allowed the wolf to lie down and grow still much to the relief of her own handler. Resting her head on her paws she would close her eyes allowing the teeth of the brush to detangle any knots in her fur. It was the sound of scissors snipping her fur did she raise her head and peer at Justin. While he trimmed her winter coat she felt his hand brush along her side and reacting on instinct she rolled over to her back and was rewarded with a pat on her stomach, such a relishing feeling. Her tail would sway side to side as her back leg twitched quite content.
I'd Rather Feel Pain Then Nothing At All
