Edie merely smirked in satisfaction at the way the almost smiled at her comment of sleeping with him â€" a thought that wasn't entirely unappealing, though she hardly wanted to admit that to him. At home, Edith had always been quiet and willing to do what others told her. Here, no one knew the shy girl that she'd been. No one cared about her enough to actually give a damn what she chose to do. If she wanted to flirt with a stranger or do something reckless, there would be no one to call her out on it. The thought was exhilarating to the young fox, and that was what called her gaze to the man as he spoke of exactly what he wanted her to do. Distract a sales assistant. Cause a scene. It wasn't exactly a hard thing to do. The appeal of that fifty dollars was enough to cause the young fox to nod, shifting on her feet as the thought of exactly what he was planning to do crossed her mind. She decided not to question it. The less she knew was likely the better in this particular circumstance.
She'd just opened her mouth to offer her acceptance when he spoke again, and Edie couldn't help but respond with a raise of her eyebrows. Ah, that simper that crossed his features was decidedly handsome. She couldn't help the chuckle that came out of her lips as he walked past her. Immediately, the young girl turned on her heels to follow him. "And when exactly did I say I had a burning desire to sleep with you?" She remarked coolly as she fell in step beside him. She kept her gaze towards the shop at hand. It was a small clothing shop, nothing extraordinary. And like the street outside, it was buzzing with people in the inside. It wouldn't be too hard to cause a diversion. An easy fifty bucks for sure. And an interesting evening at that. "I mentioned that I'd sleep with you for money, dear Frost. I believe that's called desperation, not desire. Though the words start the same, I could understand your confusion." She grinned, offering him a wink before she set off into the shop.
The shop was definitely one that the Edith Graham from Yorkshire would have felt more than comfortable in. Edie Graham from Sacrosanct absolutely did not. It was full of overpriced clothing that she would have never been able to justify buying even with the disposable income she'd previously had. Still, the young fox hardly had to fake her interest in the clothes. They were beautiful with their vibrant colors and expensive fabrics. Careful to position herself towards the back of the store, looking at a rack of shirts whose price tags could feed her for weeks, Edie eyed the sale's assistant as she moved to help a woman not far away from herself. This would be too easy. She almost felt bad for Frost in that this would cost him fifty dollars. She moved, clutching at the rack as she allowed herself to fall to the ground, bringing several shirts tumbling after her. She crumpled onto the floor of the shop with a loud thud as her body smacked against the cool hardwood floors of the shop. At the surrounding gasps and sounds of feet rushing towards her, Edie knew that her plan had worked. She had to resist the urge to smile and remember to keep her eyes closed. She heard the voice of the sales assistant asking if she was alright and almost felt bad for the woman. It was clear she had no idea what to do in a situation like this.
