North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

i'm not ashamed of my scars, i'm ashamed of the world for not understanding.

That Tetradore has not taken the time to speak about his past was hardly a surprising thing. She wasn't really quite sure how much Sam knew about anyone within the pack or if he had taken the time to explain things about the pack to her. It really wasn't her place to teach Sam how this particular pack ran, but she could at least help her understand the basics. There was barely anything she knew about her own companion's past, and perhaps that was the best thing. All that really mattered was here and now, but it wasn't necessarily a bad thing to take the time to know another. After all, sometimes someone's past truly speaks volume as to why they are the way they are. The mention of how her Alpha was making Sam happy caused the Were to smile and nod quietly. She understood what she was meaning, after all, Tobias made her feel safe and happy as well. That and very rarely annoyed, but most of the time she appreciated his presence. As Sam spoke gratefully about the idea she noticed how the woman stepped closer to hug her and she went still, not really quite sure what to do, and so remained still. With a polite nod she followed the woman out of the changing rooms her head held a little bit proudly at the realization that she had called her a friend. As they began to pay for their items, the young girl watched in absolute horror at the final dollar amount. Whispering her concern about the price.

"Did he...did he say we could spend that much?!"

With their items bagged she grabbed hers and quietly walked behind Sam out the store. It was the question about the watch that caught her attention. With a shrug, not really sure where else to go within the area she spoke up.

"A jewelry store is what you said we needed to go to. The band was black I think and it looked like this."

Before she had the capability of only talking with her mind as a wolf to another, but that power elevated her to the ability to mentally communicate no matter what form she was in. She could now send visual images that were locked within her mind. Slowly an image would begin to appear in Sam's head â€" the white-gold faced watch, with the gears that should have shown the month and year, instead showed the moon cycle, with a raggedy looking black band. Raven didn't know much about this watch, but she knew that Tetradore wore it often until the band broken then she never saw it again. A small smile appeared as she quickly shook her head, answering her question about the jacket.

"I think even without the jacket he has that badass, don't mess with me kind of vibe."
