Sebastian Ellington
Cause i've been dancing with shadows
waiting till the morning after
Inquisitively, Sebastian's indigo gaze remained steadfast upon that flash of ivory that had caught his attention from his periphery, the vampire's head tilting to the side ever so slightly as the young girl before him offered him but a curt, one worded response. Ah - she didn't seem much as if she wanted to be bothered. In fact, it seemed as if her gaze was turning elsewhere, looking for a particular someone. Of course, he could always change that. It was something he did quite often and yet, Sebastian wholly hesitated, entirely unsure if she was what he truly wanted on an evening like this. Frankly, she seemed as if she would take far more effort on his part then she was worth. It was this very conundrum that he considered when the young woman spoke again, waving down the bartender in the process. "Well, it looks ravishing on you." The vampire responded, presenting the female in front of him with that bewitching simper he was so known for - not that anyone here even really knew him much in the first place. He rose that glass to his lips, his darkened irises watching the bartender in front of him in an entirely judgemental fashion as the man poured that drink for the female beside him.
Briefly, his gaze turned elsewhere, brushing over the crowd in a search for someone that so fit his palette. He was hungering for something particular tonight - someone not too terribly wasted to leave him in a state of utter inebriation, but someone just enough buzzed to take that edge off of his own stress. It was the sound of that feminine voice that so drew his navy gaze back towards the woman at his side, that charming smile once again crossing his features. Ah - so maybe she wasn't done with him yet. Indecisive thing wasn't she? Or perhaps, whomever she was looking for simply failed to show and she'd decided he was the best alternative to her evening. This notion alone hardly bothered him at all, it was an aspect of his life he'd long gotten used to and accepted. His head bobbed ever so slightly at her comment, his accented lyrics reaching out to her just over the hum of the crowd that surrounded them. "Yes, it is. It's not usually this bad." Still, whatever Ceara was doing was clearly working and he could hardly fault the woman for having a booming business.
Sebastian was aware, vaguely, of her gaze lingering over his form, his eyes turning back towards her own feminine figure. After all, if she was going to so meticulously eye him, was it not fair he was allowed the same pleasure? Still, there was something...peculiar about her, something that pulled at his senses even if he wasn't able to put his thumb on it. Still, a small shrug crossed Sebastian's features, the aspect of being overdressed not terribly a point of contention for him. After all, it was far better to be overdressed than under, was it not? "Perhaps, though I had not intended to wind up here tonight either." Despite that simple admittance, another simper brushed across his features, the vampire charming as ever. "You, however, fit in nicely here. The black is very flattering." He offered, able to find compliments in anything.
