Samantha Cassidy
Samantha wasn't quite sure what had gotten in to her, though she suspected it might have been the alcohol that coursed through her veins and made her lightheaded and happy. But her hand curled so effortlessly around his arm and drew his attention over to her. She couldn't help the smile that erupted within her as his booming voice spoke out to call her beautiful. Her cheeks seemed to turn a brilliant scarlet and she ducked her chin down just a little bit. She had hardly expected the way he turned within his seat or the grin he offered her. She hadn't expected it, but god, did she enjoy it. "Malek," She repeated with a smile, her hand coming back to rest upon the bar as she lifted her drink to her lips. The fruity beverage tasted heavenly on her tongue.
She couldn't help the girlish laugh that escaped her as he bellowed that he wanted to buy her another drink. "Oh you don't ha..." She started, pushing a lock of her hair behind her ear almost shyly. She felt sorry for the bartender as he attempted to converse with the man, and without thinking she allowed her affinity to wrap around the bartender and soothe him in the man's presence. She giggled as the bartender so relaxed, moving to set another drink in front of the Faerie Queen, who had managed to finish off her fourth already. Her head spun. She felt light and airy and couldn't stop smiling.
"Oh," She said with a giggle as she leaned in. Something about him drew her in like a magnet, and she couldn't resist the urge to be within his gaze. "I'm... lonely, I guess. I needed to get out of my house..." She admitted. It wasn't entirely the truth, and yet for tonight she wanted to forget. That was what the alcohol was for. The alcohol was meant to make her forget all the aches that had come in the past few weeks.
Alcohol and... the promise of Malek.
The grin that stretched across his features was a handsome one, though Samantha noticed the joy within his emotions first. The joy was contagious and seemed to settle upon the Faerie Queen's face as well. It was almost instantaneous that she wanted to place her hands upon him once more, though somehow she resisted that urge. Kind of. The girl leaned a little, nearly toppling off her stool as she reached out to catch herself with his arms. Five drinks, and she was giddy. She looked up at the feeling of his cold skin.
"Ooh! You're a vampire, aren't you." She said happily, a giggle leaving her lips as she slid entirely off the barstool and struggled to keep herself on her feet. "I met a vampire once. It wasn't very fun for me. I think you'll be much better." She grinned up at him, her red hair falling into her eyes as she regarded him. "I'm a queen, you know. Isn't that cool?"
