North

Within the Northern vicinity of the city, the wealthy gather behind meticulously trimmed hedges and high-class architecture. The pristine streets are paved with stone and the storefronts are brightly lit and inviting - for the right clientele. In the North, every establishment is eager to cater to the rich and the wealthy. Many such places are used to the sometimes peculiar requests of the otherworldly but here there is little that money cannot buy - whether it happens to be illegal or merely involves looking the other way. Vampires and Dark Hunters are often found upon these Northern streets, their long lives often contributing to their sizable wealth which allows them the luxuries that the North provides.

Bad things happened when dear Anna-Marie was bored, things that ended in blood and death. Humans were such fragile things after all that their value of life had long been something the little vampire saw as...inconsequential. It was a slightly boring thought to endeavor on that pathway tonight so she was more than delighted to spot another of her kind so attempting to blend in. This staged run of his alone was enough to peak Anna's curiosity and so decide to make him a new playmate for the moment. She gave no thought to dashing across the street and tagging him, declaring him 'it' and scampering a few feet away. Confusion colored her features slightly at his lack of play so of course questioned him on it.

"I want to play...and you're running." Anna raised a brow as if it was a very common thing to have someone rush up in a sudden game of tag. Now Anna-Marie could be quite imaginative and playful but unfortunately it was mostly on her terms. If someone questioned her or worse yet refused to play with her, well, that's when things got ugly. That amicable facade that Anna wore broke slightly, her features twisting as her quick emotions toed at that line of frustration. "You are my friend...if you play." The fingers on one of her hands at her side twitched, coiling around the other vampire's essence to give it a little tug. It would be no more than a firm push to his torso as she seized the muscles there and manipulated them to jerk involuntarily; it was nothing to destabilize the man or harm him but enough to...warn him. If he did not play then he wouldn't fall under her category of friends.

That hardened gaze in Anna's eyes and tone was as brief as her quick demonstration of her power, returning to that angelic expectant gaze. It always was in the best interest of her targets to play along though that didn't mean everyone always did. "You weren't running right. Are you broken?" Perhaps he had had an injury before being turned that prevented him from running as her and other vampires were capable of.
