Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Teenage kids sneakin' out again

The boy's bright blue eyes glanced upwards as Henry approached him, reaching out for the bottle of wine and the glasses. A glimpse of confusion crossed his features as Henry commented he'd be back in a moment. "Oh, okay." Sterling commeted in return, turning his attention instead towards the wine in front of him. It took a bit of effort to so pull the cork from that bottle, that pop sound all too satisfying but moments later as Sterling poured the wine into those glasses. He placed the bottle in front of the fireplace, reaching forward to grab his own wine as he sipped upon the contents, entirely relishing in that flavor that so assaulted his palette. A warm simper crossed his features as his gaze returned to the fire, content to wait for whatever had so distracted his lover. It was the sound of Henry's feet padding back down that hallway that brought his eyes upwards, his lips pulled into a grin at that pile of pillows that were clutched in Henry's arms. He recognized several of his own in there and yet, it hardly perturbed him in the least that Henry had so ventured into his room.

Rather, Sterling simply waited as Henry set the pillows out around them, entirely curious of his lover's intent as he so placed the pillows with care. Still, he remained silent on their presence, allowing Henry to settle down at his side as he handed the wine glass to his lover. He watched Henry lean back against that stack and yet, rather than follow suit, Sterling merely scooted closer towards his boyfriend, shifting in such a way as to lean against Henry's chest instead. His own glass was placed at his side, his fingertips raising to gingerly brush against Henry's jawline as the man comented on his enjoyment of the evening. "I did too." Sterling uttered softly, leaning upwards just enough to gingerly allow his lips to brush against Henry's own. "Thank you...for all of it." No one before had ever gone through such an effort to so entice him, to interest him in the slightest, much less to date him. The care Henry had put in their day was certainly not lost upon him in the least. He wanted to show Henry how much he appreciated it, relying entirely upon the language he knew his lover spoke best and, slowly, Sterling reached up to take Henry's wine glass from him, setting it beside his own before his hands settled upon Henry's neck, his lips once again pressing against his lover's own and yet, this kiss was hardly as chaste or innocent as the one that had come before it.
