Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Residences

Contrary to how she lived now, Amelia had grown up in a poor family who farmed for a living. She and her sisters took care of the cows and chickens, gathering eggs and milk on a daily basis while her brothers helped her father out in the fields growing corn. They had a modest lifestyle and lived in a crowded farm house. She had learned to live within her means and be appreciative for what she had. But her extended life had given her the opportunity to pack away money for later. Now she got the opportunity to live large but she always enjoyed living simple. It reminded her of her childhood which had always been a pleasant topic for her.

They easily transitioned the conversation onto her flexibility, and she gave an answer to tell him that she was not only flexible in her plans, but also in body. She loved the banter she had with Troy. It came natural to her and it made her smile â€" something she hadn't done so much of since the last time she was in a serious relationship. When he spoke, she smiled. "Is that so? I can do much more of that..." She slowly bit down softly on the edge of her lip, giving him a sultry stare.

As Troy moved on with her food massage, Amelia leaned back and relaxed against the pillows, enjoying the way he was able to reduce the tension she seemed to always carry in the balls of her feet. When she gave him a 7/10, she nearly toppled over with laughter at his response. She had only been playing.

The conversation went very serious and Amelia knew what was coming up â€" talk about the night before. She sighed. She never wanted to discuss that part of her and it was always difficult to do. But she owed him answers â€" as good of answers as she could give him. He mentioned that a hamburger would make things better, so she took one from him and slowly unwrapped the wrapper. As he began to speak, she took a bite, trying to figure out the flavors. While it wasn't what she was used to, it wasn't terrible. She would have much rather the meet been a little more rare, but overall it was okay. "It's not bad." She gave him a playful wink before taking another bite.

When he spoke again, she sighed. Her appetite was gone and she set the burger aside. When he told her not to ignore it or pretend it hadn't happened, she sighed. "It's not that I'm ignoring it. I can never get away from those memories. I have accepted what happened to me...I've had years to do this. But the topic never gets any easier. It's just easier to not engage in conversation over it. Then I can enjoy myself without turning into a ball of emotion." She covers her tattoo mainly because she doesn't want to talk about what happened to other people. The topic was still sore and raw and the more she talked about it, the more upset she got. She always turned into a crying fool. So in order to try to keep herself in check, it was just easier to cover the tattoo.
