Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Things had changed so drastically for him in the past few months. He had come into this town with the same hate for vampires he's carried now for over 800 years and yet all in the matter of one night, this lovely thing right here was able to break through all those walls and make him actually care about one. If she were any other vampire, he wouldn't have saved her that night when the hunters attacked the club. He would have just walked the other way, leaving her to her fate. He wouldn't have dared to show his wings and reveal that he was a fairy, especially not to a vampire. He wouldn't have tried to see her again, or even think about whether she had healed okay from the arrow. And yet here they were and because of who she was, he had just admitted to falling in love with a vampire. How quickly life changes. He knew now that he couldn't blame her entire kind for the vampire who drained his mother. He couldn't blame her kind for his father and brother abandoning him and leaving him to fend for himself. He could blame her kind for a lot of things in this world....but maybe not all of them were bad things. She chuckled when he said that he wanted to peek into her mind, her eyes lighting up with mischief as she told him that he couldn't handle it. He smirked and raised a brow. "You underestimate me, sweetheart. I can handle a lot. In fact, I could probably handle you at least ten more times tonight. But who's counting?" His smirk widened, his own eyes gleaming now. He didn't try to mask his hunger for her flesh. He didn't think he could ever get rid of those images. Her naked body was something he never wanted to forget. He loved her witty comebacks and the way she liked to glare at him like she was doing now, acting like she wasn't enjoying every minute of him touching her. He knew she liked it but it wasn't like it wasn't a turn on when she tried to play hard to get. The groan that left her lips would have been proof even if he didn't know. He didn't regret telling her how he felt and it was a weight lifted off his shoulders to know he wasn't the only one. Sure, he had been torn before because he thought there was a connection with Sam. He thought that maybe once she'd had her time to grieve for her boyfriend and had time to heal on her own then maybe, just maybe, there would be a chance. But out of the blue she packed her bags and left. Maybe this was her time alone healing and that's okay. But he couldn't just stay here and wait, couldn't just ignore the feelings strengthening for Amelia. They were both immortal so at least it wasn't bound to be a heart wrencher when the one he loved would grow old and pass away in their sleep. He had loved more than a couple humans and he had stayed. He took care of them as they grew old and feeble. He spoon fed them and told them stories, even when they couldn't remember who he was. He tucked them into bed and gave them warm sponge baths and held their hands as they took their last breath. He grieved every time but he would never regret the memories he made with each and every one of them. With Amelia, it would be different. They would never grow old. They would take care of each other and share their experiences with each other but there would never be a moment when he knew he was going to lose her to death, at least not the natural kind. He knew there were dangers out there, things and people that could kill them, but he had spent almost a century surviving and he would continue to do that. It wasn't half so bad with someone surviving with you. She slapped him in the chest and he grinned wolfishly, returning the kiss though he stuck out his bottom lip in a pout when she said that she had to leave before dawn. He had forgotten about that little kink. Ah yes, the sun. Damn that sun. So she would be staying here then. He was determined that they not wear clothes then the rest of the time she was here. As if reading his mind, she looked up at him and told him to take her again and that was all he needed to hear. He groaned with wanting and lifted her up, hands cupping her cheeks as he pressed her against the shower wall and melted his lips into hers. He explored her mouth with his tongue before his hungry kisses moved down her neck and shoulders, and then he slowly entered her, moving slow and gentle at first to ease her into it before he upped the speed and rhythm. This was going to be a good night. He could tell already. OOC: Yay! Can't wait to see the look on his face xD Let me know when you want to start the next one. |
