Anacosta Heights
Dupont Circle
Hawethorn Village
River Dale
Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.
Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.
Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.
River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.
Nadya Tetradore
The boxes and delivery men were all but forgotten by Nadya when she set eyes on her brother. At first she thought it some cruel joke by Frost, using his illusion ability to trick her, thinking in some way it would make her feel better to have even the illusion of her Alpha back. It would explain the absence of the pack bond at least. Once she got closer to Aiden was when his scent, wholly his and familiar registered that she knew he wasn't an illusion but truly here...risen somehow from the dead. There were many things she wanted to do, cry and hug him was one of those possibilities. Even though tears sprung to her eyes, they didn't fall, and the action that overwhelmed her was smacking him in the chest and letting that harsh demand to explain himself was the one that won.
His simper and nonchalant explanation of belated birthday presents had Nadya simply blinking at him. All this time away and Christmas presents was what he was going to talk about? She glanced down at the small box he pressed within her hand. Her fingers clutched it tightly though her confused dark eyes sought out the familiar emerald of his she had missed so much. "I-..Aiden...you died. The bond, it snapped, it's still gone. What-.." Nadya trailed off as from within the home Izzy's shout of mama sounded. The young mother pursed her lips, glancing back at the home then at the surrounding area around the property. Frost hadn't made an appearance within a few days and it was perhaps best that he not know of her brother's return just yet. "Why don't you come in? You can show the twin's their new toys yourself and I can make you something to eat....please."
Gently she reached out to place a hand on her brother's forearm, eyes pleading for him to at least give her a bit of his time. She wanted answers, yes, but she also simply missed his presence and was afraid if he left right now that she may not see him again. A warm smile cracked through the sadness in her eyes as she was able to lead Aiden away from his car and up into her home for the last few months. "I'm guessing the others at the Ark told you where I was now." Nadya closed the door behind them just before both toddlers came trotting down the hallway. "Unca!" Izzy giggled, remembering well her uncle as he had been there for every full moon shift to help the twins through for almost a year. The little girl with her hair done in a ponytail that had that beautiful natural curl to it wrapped her arms around her uncle's legs in a clinging hug.
Nadya smiled down at the twins before continuing on her explanation to her brother. "I...your empty room was too much to be confronted with all the time and with you gone...all I had left were the twins and I couldn't be separated from them too." She fidgeted slightly as it was only one of the reasons she had decided to part from the Ark; Tobias' press at Alpha role wasn't one she would submit to, along with his more unchecked volatile nature. Nadya gestured to the twins, "You caught me in time though. I was just getting the twins ready to go to their babysitters so I could go on my patrol for the night." Just because she wouldn't accept Tobias in her brother's place didn't mean she wouldn't keep safe the territory her brother had acquired and those that he brought to live in the Ark. "The Chimera pack hasn't come back but we've still been keeping up with the schedule." Nadya was left watching her brother, unsure of what to say, finding his sudden reappearance still...surprising.
