Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

years I've walked in the coldest winds
from sorrow and pain I find my strength
the more I hurt, the clearer I see.

That soft utterance of the young girl's voice caused his gaze to slowly drawn upwards, his forehead creased with so struggling to maintain all those emotions that filled him. Nadya was his sister and that made all of this so much more difficult for the man. "Mother had one." He stated quietly, the man inhaled softly before he continued, his eyes fluttered back towards piecing together that castle as he spoke. "You were probably too young to remember it but you used to love hers. You'd play with it all the time. She never took it off. I thought it was fitting, now that you're a mother too." The man rarely gave gifts beyond those obligatory Christmas and Birthday ones and yet, when he did, each of them was with a rather clear thought and emotion behind them. Though their parents had been taken from him, he was inclined to keep pieces of them alive in whatever way he could - this was just another way to keep their memories alive. He fell silent for several moments as those last few pieces to the castle were fitted together, the man rose, eying his work only to press upon it with his own hands to ensure it's integrity before he even considered placing his niece and nephew upon that miniature playscape.

Once he was assured, he plucked the quiet Micah from the ground, placing him upon that top platform before his elbows rested on that wall, watching the boy with a certain sort of protectiveness about him. It was only the sound of his niece's whines that drew his gaze downwards as she so reached upwards towards him. "You know you can get up yourself Izzy..." He stated, gesturing towards the small platforms in a way to so introduce the girl to them. "But just this once." Tetradore bent down to effortlessly lift the child from the ground, placing her at the top of that small platform and the entryway to the slide that she found so utterly exciting. It was somehow a relief to see the children take to the castle as easily as they did. Tetradore had been entirely worried that they might find the gift displeasing in some way, so prompting him to purchase more than one object for them to so fascinate themselves with in the hope that they might find some sort of joy in at least one of them. His gaze followed Izzy as she slid down the slide in a fit of giggles, his attention distracted from the children only by that soft utterance of his sister's voice once again.

A soft sigh left lips lips as his emerald eyes shifted upwards towards her. His hand slowly reached up to run through his hair in a fashion he only did when he found himself burdened by some thought or utterly exasperated. Tetradore knew well what she was asking of him - not his intentions with the children or this gifts he had purchased for them but rather his plans for the pack. For that man she had such an infuriating adoration with. He cleared his throat, his gaze shifted from the girl to her children and back again. "I've taken the pack back. You do not feel that connection because you were not apart of the existing pack when you refused to submit to Tobias. I am done ignoring Frost and the Chimera pack." He stated quite bluntly. Thus far, his retaliations had been largely contained, the man acting only when he was directly engaged. He had done his best to avoid Frost, to remain in his own territory all for the sake of his sibling. After all, he had at least some indication of the girl's feelings for that man for quite some time - the way she'd so jumped to Frost's defense when first told of the man's attack upon them at the Ark. Now, things were going to be different. "Every blow he delivers, every person close to me that he manipulates or terrifies....I will return in kind. I will not let what happened to Samantha happen to anyone else ever again. The only question is, Nadya - are you with me or are you with him?" Tetradore's gaze remained entirely intent upon her, that single question one that had weighed so heavily within his mind for some time. She finally had to choose.
