Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

aiden tetradore

It wasn't often, truly, that Tetradore offered those glimpses of generosity to another. She was perhaps the first soul in an altogether long time. For so long, Tetradore had simply failed to take an interest in others, never seeing a need to expand his pack any further then that immediate family and their associated friends - at least until Frost. Now there was a war afoot, even if Frost had won every battle they had engaged within thus far. Every member he gained was yet another threat to those he held dear. Mira was his first effort to so limit the casualties of his own pack. Perhaps if he displayed her some measure of kindness, she might think twice of joining the man who was at the core of all his pain of late. He didn't understand how Nadya could be so blind to all the misery Frost had caused, much less how she could so easily justify and forgive it. He didn't understand how she could love someone who so easily resorted to violence and then so consistently blame him. Then again, she never really took in the pack as family, she refused to bow to any other, perhaps this was simply the sort of Alpha she was - that dear sweet girl he'd used to play with as a child. How things had so vastly changed.

His emerald eyes peered at the young woman as she peeked into that vastly improved pillowfort, the man simply eying her and that large glass of milk she held within her hands. Slowly, the were-King reached out for that glass - plucking it delicately from her fingers only to turn and offer her a chocolate chip cookie from the bag at his side. It wasn't often that the man felt inclined to share those delectable sweets - in fact, he often provided them to Tobias alone, and even then it was with some measure of hesitance. Those cookies were one of the few things in which Tetradore was particularly selfish with. He watched as she slowly crawled into that entrance of that little fort, remaining there as if she feared venturing any further into that space with him. He hardly minded her presence, truly, and yet, he saw no reason to urge her further into that embrace of the blankets and pillows. That idle inquiry of what was wrong, however, prompted little more than a glimpse of silent contemplation.

It wasn't often that Tetradore revealed where his thoughts so lingered. In truth, few ever really asked the King of those worries, and fewer still ever wished to truly understand him. Still, he knew well of the young woman's near demand for transparency - the female entirely keen to call him out on any efforts to sidestep her probing efforts. A soft sigh left his lips as he leaned back against those pillows behind him and against that wall, dunking the cookie in that glass as he informed her exactly of that small home in the South he'd only just left and those decisions his siblings had made. Those words reverberated within his skull, the accusations upon her lips, words that he didn't fight. They were words he knew she wholeheartedly believed. It didn't matter what he said or how he pointed out how utterly wrong Nadya was. All that mattered to her was that he took the blame for this, that she walked away from him and that pack and that life unscathed and in that role as the victim - as if that was the only way she could sleep at night with her choices. He knew there was no hope of his sister ever seeing things from his point of view. She was too hard headed to care his thoughts and feelings. It was pointless - all of it was pointless.

Slowly, those emerald eyes fluttered towards the woman before him, watching her as she shifted from that poised stillness only to shake her head ever so slightly. Those words that left the young girl's lips caused his eyebrows to raise ever so slightly. She had a point - a very valid one that only served to further cement that certainty that her choice was truly some sort of guise for her own selfish desires. His head bobbed in silent agreement and yet, Tetradore had particularly little to say on the topic. It seemed silly to refute her words to Mira - after all, Mira knew little of his past, of his family and friends, of all that history between Nadya and himself. In fact, the only individual who might truly understand was Tobias and he certainly wasn't right enough in the mind to provide Tetradore was any sort of reassurance that he had done all he could for his sister. In this, Tetradore was utterly alone. A soft sigh left his lips he dunked his cookie in that milk, biting into it as those words tumbled from Mira's lips.

A small shrug crossed his shoulders ever so slightly and yet, he knew well that most of those words were entirely true. Nadya had made her choice and it was clear to him she was making every effort to justify those decisions she made. His head shook ever so slightly as his gaze turned back towards that cup in his hand. "She knows well his true colors and she still chose him in spite of them. She thinks he's justified in his choices...she won't be coming back." He knew well that this was the end of his relationship with Nadya, she had made her choice with him and denied that position of Beta to be just another groupie in that pack in the South. She took the man he so despised most as he mate and now, he knew well, that she would always choose the Norwegian over himself. There was no turning back from this. At least, he supposed, he'd had the opportunity to see his sister grow up. He had the chance to see what sort of woman she'd become. He never thought he would have been given that. It was an insignificant thing to hold onto but really, that fact alone was all he had.

Those teasing words upon her lips drew his gaze upwards, those words prompting a soft snort from the were-King before he briefly shook his head. "No, she's lost to me now. If Frost wants her so badly, and she wants him to the point that she'd abandon her family...then maybe they are perfect for each other." He watched as she dipped that cookie in her glass, so eagerly biting into it as if it was the most delicious thing she'd ever eaten. That look of utter glee upon her features was hard for him to miss, a soft chuckle left his lips. "When was the last time you had a cookie?" He commented, reaching for that bag only to place it in the middle between them. He suspected well that such treats had been out of her grasp for some time - hell, he'd even snuck out of that club he'd once been confined to in order to indulge in these very sweets. His head shook ever so slightly before the man changed the topic, trying to not subject her to that internal dwelling upon his sister. "How's your foot doing? Has it healed properly?" Tetradore was hardly in any sort of rush to kick her out, instead simply inquiring an effort to show some sort of care and interest like she had in his own difficulties.
