The warlock was rarely a persistent soul when it came to those intimate moments. Quite on the contrary, he tended to back down at the slightest hint of being unwanted, that simple habit quite near caused the boy to burry his head within Henry's chest. Sterling was almost ashamed of his persistence tonight, that apology was a mere whisper upon his lips, that frown entirely present on his lips. He could hardly help the almost vulnerable inquiry that fell from his mouth, the man requesting Henry to stay tonight. He needed the man tonight. He just....needed him in ways that he couldn't quite speak. He needed to be close to Henry, even if he was denied that intimate connection that came from that physical action. He'd hardly anticipated that sudden reassurance that came from his boyfriend, those fingers fit under his chin, drawing those blue eyes upwards and towards his lover's features. He watched the man intently as Henry insisted how much he loved Sterling, how much he wanted that sex, perhaps as much as Sterling himself wanted it. It was reassuring, to say the very least, granting the boy some insight into his boyfriend's feelings on the matter.

His eyebrows furrowed ever so slightly as he considered all that he was told, that promise to stay was wholly reassuring, his grip almost unconsciously tightening upon his boyfriend. They need this, together. Sterling bit his bottom lip, as he glanced up towards his lover, the man entirely uncertain of that offer that toyed with his thoughts. The boy was, by no means, quite nearly as sexually explorative as Henry had been. He knew well Henry's exploits in bed went far beyond anything he had ever done and yet, perhaps this would be right up Henry's alley, even if it was something....entirely new to Sterling. "We could....always tie you to the bed? Or....there's the rafters in the living room or....the column in the kitchen...." His voice trailed off and yet - did this not fix everything for them? Henry could have the assurance he needed, Sterling could have the closeness he wanted and they could both explore one another when touch was utterly banned. Tentatively, Sterling watched his lover, almost wary of the answer he would be given even despite his own mental reassurances that this could certainly work.
