Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

death incarnate & night triumphant

The man was incredibly infuriating, Andras normally having a tight hold on his temper, the Fae so rarely having to resort to such childish notations and yet, he couldn't help himself as Matteo continued to ruffle his feathers... literally. The elder man's voice simply grated Andras in the few minutes he had simply appeared in his home! Truly, he was certain he could have contained the irritation that so coursed through his body if Matteo had left and yet, he remains, leaning casually against the couch as if Andras's world was not crashing down around him. Though, if he were to be honest with himself, he was being overly dramatic. Lani was alive, an immortal even, she was stronger, faster... she was Fae, he no longer had to be worried about hurting her, yet, he didn't think he would get the chance to touch her again, the woman entirely angry and... broken in those first few days. She still refused to speak to him, Andras only getting updates through Ida. The man felt like he was going crazy, unable to speak to her, to see her.

He's drawn out of his self pitying by the questioning of Matteo which managed to send Andras flying off the handle, the man's emotions unstable these last several days. His voice raises at the faerie as he pushes himself to his feet, pacing back and forth as he glowers at the older man, only to be made angrier by the fact that Matteo simply did not show any emotion, nor did he move away. The man just leaned there as if he were having a casual conversation with a friend, not a raging, monstrous faerie that wanted to send a right hook at his friend's face. Storming away, he sweeps the glass from the table, allowing it to shatter along the ground, shards of glass shooting across the wood floor, Andras hardly caring by the mess it made. Strung up in his own rage, he hardly notices the way Matteo's eyes change color, not realizing he was peering into the future. Still, his hold on his wings falls short as they explode form his back, his shirt shredding as he finds his balance, attempting to tuck them in and yet, he can't help the fury that bubbles from the pit of his stomach, Andras shifting and tensing as he propels himself forward with his wings to throw a punch at the man.

No, he wasn't surprised when Matteo teleported away, Andras catching himself before he crashed in the wall as his wings spread slightly to stop his movements. Extending them as he whirls around, he knocks a lamp off a nearby table as it's sent crashing to the ground. He barely notices as he locks eyes with Matteo at his side, his entire body quivering with barely restrained anger. Only pausing to listen to the man, "I would have done something, I could have prevented this! For god's sake, I would have walked right out of her life if I had known, even if it killed me to do so!" He snarls, that honesty thickly coating his words as he curls his long fingers into a fist as Matteo continues, "I set those laws so I would not become my father, what's the point in having rules if I get to break them as well?" He snaps out, his mind briefly flashing back to all the times his father choose to disregard his own laws and in turn, make his people hate him. Matteo's next words make Andras freeze altogether, a fiery rage that once burned through his body was replaced with ice, a cold rage seeping through his bones as his dark hazel eyes slowly meet Matteo's gaze.

He did not like being compared to his father in any sense, and Matteo knew that. If Andras had been thinking logically, he would've have know the older faerie was goading him into this fight, and yet, his judgement was clouded. And yet, Andras was so entirely hung up on that statement, he ignores Matteo's next question as a roar releases from his lips and his wings flare, knocking an assortment of items on the floor as he leaps towards Matteo, hands reached outward as he attempts to tackle him to the ground. He wanted to pummel the faerie's pretty face, make him apologize to beg for his forgiveness. "Stop running away! Fight me already!" He snarls at Matteo as the man, once again, teleports away. He had no doubt he could reach upon that affinity of darkness and tether him to the spot and yet, he didn't want to kill the man, he just wanted to beat the shit out of him. Instead, he casts his mind towards Matteo, working on breaking down his shields, to peer into his mind to see what he was going to do next. Matteo could see the future but Andras could read minds, an interesting battle to be had.
