Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

we built this city on broken glass

He could very near sense the doubt within Nadya. A veritable hum within her mind at his assurance he had something of a plan to remove that silver bullet and yet, perhaps in a testament to their relationship as both mates and his position as Alpha- she hardly questioned it. Frost distinctly satisfied with her quick adherence to his command this afternoon as she turned to sprint back into the depths of the forest. Nadya, in the least, would arrive at the house well before them. The panther afforded at least a half hour or so to prepare something of a space for them to work with. How inconvenient a bullet was. Frost content to return his attention to that wounded hip with a scowl of displeasure. It was fortunate, perhaps, that Scarlett had seen fit to dispose of her attackers before his own arrival. Their demise appeared to have been distinctly quick. A mercy he may not have afforded them. His desire to protect what was his, after all, was a decidedly potent one. He crouched easily beside Scarlett then, his gaze wandering further over her form in search off any further injury. The majority of that bleeding seeming to be focused largely around that bullet wound and yet the amount of blood she had already lost was....more then he considered ideal. That walk back to the house was decent enough in turn. The position of the wound making it near impossible to bandage effectively and that bullet within limiting any chance for healing it all the same. That sudden, weak voice pressing into his mind saw those violet eyes meet those of his pack mate then. Frost glancing down toward Scarlett at that soft 'hi' she offered him, as if only now becoming aware off his presence. The wolf insisting she was tired.

"I'm not surprised, you've been busy."

He offered simply, the man making an effort, for once, to keep that cooler note from his words and afford her something warmer. Those easy tones as calm as always. Frost rarely prone to allowing any true emotion to seep into the depths of those baritone lyrics. The man careful to assure his features remained neutral and free of any concern for the depth of that wound or the amount of blood she had already lost. That she was conscious was a positive sign and yet he was already assured she was wavering. His arms moved easily to slip beneath her then. Scarlett a fortunately small wolf by comparison and easy enough to lift into his arms. That small whine prompting him to adjust that hold as best he could before beginning to head for home. It so hardly took long before he could feel that still-hot blood beginning to run agianst his own skin. Frost glancing down at the wolf in his arms as her eyes began to flutter once more. That soft voice finding his mind again, Scarlett slipping into unconsciousness before he could make any attempt to prevent otherwise.

"Scarlett? Scar?"

This was hardly ideal. His own pace quickened slightly. Frost attempting to maneuver down that hill as best he could before passing through the gate to his own backyard and heading for the back door nadya had left open. Frost moving to carry Scarlett into the living room then. Nadya having been nothing but efficient in making something of a hospital-like space as he gently moved to lay the unconscious wolf upon the floor. Nadya's worried tone hardly lost upon him.

"I know. She's lost a lot of blood. She'll heal quickly on her own if we can remove that bullet though. Use one of those towels, put pressure on that wound to stem the blood flow as best you can. I'll be back in a moment. See if you can wake her- though for what comes next it may be better she feels nothing."

Frost shifted easily away from the pair then to move back through the kitchen and up the stairs to his and Nadya's own room, the stallion crouching down to pull several items out from beneath that bed including that far more significant first aid kit Alexander had provided him with after the arrow incident. Frost moved to exit the bedroom then, striding back down stairs and back into the living room. Scarlett still appearing very much unconscious as Nadya pressed that towel to her hip. The equine crouching down beside both women then before reaching for the kit Nadya had provided, those small tweezers plucked from within before being passed to nadya in turn. Frost moving then to open that far larger one and rifle through its ample contents (Alexander an excessively well prepared individual) before pulling out that far longer pair or tweezers with unusual ends.

"These are magnetised. Silver is not magnetic but that bullet would break apart when fired if it was pure silver. Chances are it will have some iron or nickel in. These should all but draw it out once I get close enough. You will need to hold the wound open as best you can with the pair you have. Hopefully she will remain unconscious. I don't have anything strong enough for pain relief off this level. This should only take a minute. Are you ready?"

Frost was hardly the sort of man inclined to mince words or waste time. The stallion reaching for that bowl of water then to dip another towel within it before using it to wipe as much blood away from that wound as he could before encouraging nadya to hold that wound open as much as she was able. His gaze turned briefly back to Scarlett to assure she wa still unconscious before placing his own tweezers in that wound with as much precision as he was able. This....a level of medical care he was hardly trained to administer and yet Scarlett would hardly make that trip to the hospital as it was. Alexander had sworn by these damn things. If only the could....that distinctly metallic -clunk- so readily saw both eyes lifting in surprise. Frost extracting those tweezers and singular silver bullet a moment or two later. Blood rapidly beginning to fill that wound again. Frost tossing those tweezers and bullet into the bowl of water.

"Quick, Naja, apply pressure to it again. She can hardly stand to lose any more. We only need to hold it off for a moment or two, her own healing has already started. The wound should close over off its own accord now. Scarlett?"

He allowed that affinity for warmth t reach out to the wolf once more in an effort to assure her body remained at that suitable temperature. A lack of blood bound to leave her cold and hamper that healing progress even further. Frost attempting to rouse her once more.
