Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

Scarlett Trivale

Scarlett had always been an incredibly social creature by nature. Her rough upbringing had never dampened her friendly, outgoing personality. She had blossomed into such a vibrant young woman, it was no surprise she was having a blast in the middle of all the chaos that was the twins birthday party. While Malia stayed locked within the confines of her room and Frost had made a personal bubble of unfriendliness that kept others from getting to near him, the young Were had no problem interacting with the many kids and parents. It was an incredibly fun and exciting atmosphere that Nadya had created for her children. The blonde woman had been all over the yard, between partaking in the many snacks, her adventures with the llama, and humoring the children and allowing herself to be donned a princess crown for the day; more than once she had been called rapunzel. But despite how much fun the wolf was having, she was glad that this was only a one day thing. Truthfully she couldn't imagine having this many people around all the time, and even she would grow tired of all the craziness.

After the success of getting the llama to tolerate her presence long enough to let her pet it, Scarlett quickly bounded over to where Nadya and Frost were standing and observing the party. She beamed in greeting, quick to jump into the conversation though she truly had no idea just what was being discussed more than there was apparently a pony. She couldn't help the laughter that bubbled up at Nadya's friendly eye roll at her insistence that she wanted a pony. It truthfully wasn't a total lie, Scarlett had wanted a pet for awhile and had grown up on a farm, raising a horse of her own at one point. She listened as Frost broke the news that there was already a pony for the twins, shrugging her shoulders slightly as he insisted that the Wolf agreed with him. "I mean, I grew up on a farm with a horse of my own, well a lot of animals really. Having them learn to take care of the pony can teach them responsibility like it did with me," she said, adding her own personal experiences into the mix to perhaps ease Nadya's tension over the situation. She supposes she was taking Frost's side, though truthfully she hadn't really meant to pick a side. "I can always help teach them how to take care of it too," she added, both to be helpful and also because she wanted to see the pony herself.

The werewolf couldn't help her laughter at the reception her innocent, but teasing, insistence that they get a llama instead got. Both Nadya and Frost were quick to shut down the idea of a big fluffy animal permanently being in their backyard, with Frost making a note of how it ate his grass. "Grass grows back quick, and at least it's not eating Nadya's flowers," she said with a dismissive wave of her hand, the subtlest hint that she had once seen Frost munching away on his mate's flower bed and she didn't know it was him within the tone of her voice. Scarlett hadn't said anything, cus truthfully it was quite...comical that he was the culprit behind her flower killer. Poor Nadya, perhaps one day Scarlett would tell her, just to see how she got after Frost, or perhaps her alpha would man up and admit to it or even stop his clear addiction to flowers. Only time would tell.

She let the pair move on with their conversation concerning Malia who was trapped inside, knowing there was little she could do about that situation herself. Instead Scarlett kneeled down to be more on level with little Micah who had been quietly hiding out. She didn't want to spook him, and made care to be especially reserved and gentle with him as he was incredibly different than his sister. Nothing made her happier though than when he smiled at her words, nodding that indeed he was excited about cake and presents. She listened intently as he even went on to explain how there were lots of presents and that he would have to share with his sister. "Sharing your toys is always important," she said with a smile, trying to reaffirm this important life lesson, though truthfully it would probably be better for his sister than for him. "I made sure to get you guys both extra special presents, one just for you and one just for your sister," she said, excited for the twins to open what she had gotten them. Scarlett had gone out of her way to get them something different, something uniquely for Micah and something uniquely for Izzy. Hopefully it would keep Izzy from coveting her brother's present and neither would have to share, they could have something just for themselves that only they liked. Plus she wanted to put thought into the presents she got, rather than just lump a present together and say it was for both of them like some of the parents had done; both cheaping out and not caring enough to get the Micah something he would like and Izzy something she would like.
