Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

kissing death and loosing my breath
The young witch was hardly perturbed the lack of the woman's immediate presence, knowing all too well the distance that lie between the Ark and her home in the middle of town. It was plenty of time to allow water to boil in the kettle as she placed a soothing mixture of herbs within her small glass teapot. She leaned against the counter, gently massaging her temples with her long pristine fingertips, a soft sigh upon her lips as she let the minutes tick by ever so slowly within the comfortable silence of her town house. She glanced over her home and the disaster that she had struck within the neat orderliness of her world in her desperation to find a way to free herself from the canine, the thought alone made her lips press together in distaste. Quite frankly, Serafina wasn't certain what upset her more - the fact that her home had been dirtied in her quest or the wolf that she had somehow manage to bind herself too. Never the less, the young woman shook her head, allowing her attention to drift back towards the liquid in the tea cup, watching as it turned from transparent to a soft shade of green - ready for her consumption.

She was only just beginning to dissolve a spoonful of honey into her mug when she heard the front door open and yet, she hardly bothered to look within the direction of her entryway, knowing exactly who it would be. It wasn't until the woman's voice echoed from the kitchen's entryway that Serafina even bothered to acknowledge her presence, her hands wrapping around the warm mug as she turned to face the woman. For a moment, Serafina was silent, the weight of her stormy gaze watched the female that stood in her kitchen. Her last evening with the woman was still stained upon her memory - a blight too great that it oversaw all the other aspects of their relationship that had once perhaps been on the fringe of an obscure companionship. Now - however, she doubted they'd be capable of being anything more then mere acquaintances. Never the less, Serafina hardly voiced the thoughts that lingered so heavily upon her mind, instead handing the female a small cup of a peculiar luminescent red hue - it was quite clearly something with magical properties though weather or not it achieved Serafina's goal remained to be seen.

"No - just drink this." She stated simply, her warm mug still clutched preciously within her fingertips as she moved around her kitchen table, glancing at one of the many manuscripts that decorated it's surface. This latest effort came with the assistance of her ghastly mentor, whom had only seen fit to step in once he was fully aware of Serafina's intentions. It was no secret he had never been particularly fond of her wolverine companion. Their separation apparently was enough to coax the man into compliance and for the first time in a very long time, the warlock was being the guiding force within the young witch's life that he was supposed to. All Serafina could do was hope it worked.
