Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

kissing death and loosing my breath
Her long, manicured fingers wrapped around the warm mug within her hands, her lips pressed together ever so slightly as she stared deep into the amber-green colored liquid. Her stomach ached from the substances she had ingested in a feverish attempt to free herself from the metaphysical connection she held to the lupine woman. The corner of her lips tilted down in a small frown as she heard the front door open, a soft breath inhaled to steel and steady herself from whatever she was next going to encounter. Her grey tinged gaze was steadfast upon the door frame, meeting the eyes of the were-woman the moment that she stepped into the kitchen. Her tone was blunt and frigid as she demanded the wolf consume the thick, syrupy concoction, hardly concerned of the smell or the taste. After all, in the last few hours, the young witch had certainly drank her fair share of foul smelling liquids. She waited, poised tauntly against the edge of her kitchen counter as the wolf sniffed the contents of the glass, bringing it slowly to her lips. Carefully, Serafina cast her attention deep within, searching for that connection to bound the pair only to be disappointed to find it still very present.

A soft disgruntled sound left the witch's lips after a few moments of silence, having chalked this potion too up to yet another failure. Never the matter, she had others in the process of completion. One of them had to prove fruitful, she was sure. Or, at the very least, so she desperately hoped. She turned to glance at a pot on the stove, picking up a large wooden spoon to slowly mix the thin contents within. She glanced up only at the sound of her companion and yet, even so, the witch failed to respond immediately. After all, she had little notion how the wolf would react if she knew the truth of Serafina's attempt at magical workings and frankly she was getting quite tired of being thrown around physically against her will. Her gaze shifted back towards the substance, watching as it started to boil and slowly she removed it from the burner. "This one is next." She stated simply as she stared into the pot as if somehow she might be able to divine its effectiveness by look alone.

After a moment longer she reached for Raven's glass, rinsing it out only to fill it with this newer, thinner, purple colored liquid. "They're potions." She stated simply, as if that much was obvious though she hardly bothered to expand upon the topic. Instead, she placed this glass too in front of the woman before picking up her tea to once again sip it for the sweet relief it offered her pained physic. "I called you here to drink potions with the hopes that one of them breaks our connection." Her slate tinged eyes glanced up at the were-female from over her steaming mug, her stare alone was entirely challenging, as if daring the woman to protest or otherwise inflict something upon the witch that she didn't particularly want to do.
