Anacosta Heights

Situated above the daily life of the city, Anacosta Heights is a tucked away suburb featuring extravagant neo-gothic inspired mansions. The inhabitants of this neighborhood often show their overwhelming wealth with sports cars lining their long, circular driveways, large pools, and manicured gardens. The homeowners of Anacosta Heights treasure their privacy as seen by the high iron gates to the security personnel present at every entrance.

Dupont Circle

Dupont Circle is a small suburban neighborhood settled within the serene portion of the southern portion of town. These four-bedroom, single-family homes feature back yards, porches, garages, and far more breathing space then the Village offers. This neighborhood often is more family orientated and even has organized events for children and the neighborhood as a whole.

Hawethorn Village

Settled in the middle of downtown, Hawthorn Village consists of several victorian inspired row houses just off the main street. Due to it's convenience to just about everything, the village can be a tad expensive to live within. However, the residents of this neighborhood often have two to three-story townhouses, often with a one to two-car garage. Many of the houses feature bay windows and/or rooftop terraces with a small fenced-in 'yard'.

River Dale

River Dale primarily consists of apartments that, despite their age and industrial appearing interior, still hold to the Victorian history that permeates the town. These apartments are often the cheapest option and sport scuffed, older wooden floors, open floor plans, visible beams, and the occasional brick wall.

While her experiences hanging out with the Nightshade pack had led her to realize that nudity was nothing to the Weres she spent time with, the young faerie was still remarkably vulnerable to the emotions that seemed to course through her at the sight of her boyfriend's bare chest. She could still remember the first time she saw him â€" really saw him â€" in her apartment after he'd saved her life. She'd thought him handsome then, though it was nothing compared to the way he felt to her now. The lust that coursed through her was unknowingly being spread to the man, the girl unaware that that was happening as much as Aiden himself was. After all, it wasn't something that she'd ever been able to do before, or even tried to do, and she hardly anticipated it. And even then, even now that she was feeling it and he was responding, she didn't want to question it. She wanted to welcome the looks he gave her, the kisses he gave her, and there was no reason why she shouldn't, right?

Still, it hadn't stopped the girl from whispering his name, inquiring why he was being so quiet. She was used to his silence normally. He was never much of a talker â€" in fact the girl was more apt to talk his ear off and fill his half of the conversation â€" only seeming to add bits of conversation when he had something to add. They worked together in that aspect, and she never questioned it. But now, his silence seemed to unnerve her. She wanted reassurance. That this was alright, that it was okay for them to move like this and okay to feel the things she felt. She knew â€" she could feel it as easy as breathing â€" that he felt it too. There was no real reason to question it, especially not with the full weight of his emerald eyes on her as he paused just briefly. The girl couldn't help but smile, shaking her head in the briefest moment before his lips were on hers again.

Nothing, it was nothing. There was no reason to worry. Aiden wanted this, just as she wanted this. Aiden cared about her. He'd taken care of her, making sure she had a place to live. Too often she'd pressed into his bed, his body curled around hers as they slept. They were dating, in a relationship. She was his, and of course he would want this, just as she wanted this. Right? Yes, of course. It was the feeling of his lips on hers that seemed to settle it all in her mind, the girl reaching up to wrap her arms around his neck, dragging him in closer to her, welcoming his body on hers in the way that she'd never done before. She wanted him to take her, to touch her, to make her his in every aspect of the word.

And he did.

She could still feel his hands all over her afterwards, when her heartbeat seemed to thud against her chest and her breathing came out in small, ragged huffs. She had curled against him when he'd released her, her lips moving on his jaw, to his neck, to his lips. She was intoxicated by him, wanting more of him. There was nothing but infatuation and lust and desire that filled her moods. There was no reason to doubt him, no reason to not trust that this was the right thing to do. Her anxieties felt so far away, the girl still baffled that she'd felt them in the first place.

It was only in the silence that followed did Samantha's unknowing hold on Aiden's emotions drop, the girl curled to his side as though any form of distance would be too much. Her fingers traced patterns on his bare chest, a content simper plastered on her lips. She was happy, so happy, and willing to do this forever. And they had forever, right? Or at least the remainder of the night, where no one knew where they were and they could be truly, blissfully alone without the pack interrupting or Dorian, far too close and being an unknowing eavesdropper. No, for now the girl was able to just lay content. It was in her own contentment that she hardly noticed the way the emotions in the male beside her faded back to the normal state of apathy that usually plagued him, and it was her own happiness that failed to question why his emotions had been so strong to her in the first place.
