The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. Scarlett Trivale
So try to love me
And i'll try to save you
The last time Scarlett had wandered these woods, things had been much different. Back then she had just arrived in Sacrosanct, but now she was more than well versed in the ways of the city. More importantly, the young werewolf had been so light hearted and optimistic back then, but now there was sadness and pain in her heart that clouded her bright personality. The sudden death of her grandparents had devastated her, and if she already felt alone before, now she was completely alone; she had no more family, no pack, and so few friends to call on when she sought the companionship that every person needed, and what every wolf required. There was sadness in her that was festering because of her own inability to go to anyone for help, she selflessness would not allow her to trouble anyone with her problems. In fact, she didn't even like to show her sadness, the only way anyone could tell is if there were suddenly storm clouds in the sky, making it seem like fall was arriving early.
Her small lupine form sprinted through the trees, a cool breeze following her and rain clouds forming over the area. She was running to escape. Running to find a release for everything that had built up inside of her. The air felt good flowing through her cream and brown pelt, her tongue had flopped out and her mind was simply blank. She was letting herself go, letting her animal form take over so she could forget, if just for a moment, all of her sadness and troubles. It was working well, the only problem was that she was so absorbed in running that she missed the scent of another Were and almost missed the heavy scent of blood that wafted towards her until she almost stumbled right upon what could be a potentially dangerous situation.
Scarlett hit the brakes, digging her paws and claws into the ground in a desperate attempt to stop herself. The scent of blood had snapped her back to reality. Her momentum was too great and so instead of skidding to a halt she was sent tumbling. She rolled a few times, causing quite the commotion as her body went crashing into some bushes and finally rolled to a stop. She laid there panting for a moment, stunned at what had just happened, but eventually she shook it off as the scent of blood wafted through the breeze to her once more. She rolled to sit up, her head tilting into the air as she inhaled deeply. There was a scent mixed in the with the blood, another Were, but there was something familiar about the scent that peaked her curiosity. She quickly stood and shook off the debris from her coat before slinking closer to the scent, attempting to get close enough to figure out who it belonged to and why it sparked a sense of familiarity in her.
Closer and closer she got, the scent getting stronger and stronger. Her body was low, trying to keep from being scene before her green eyes could find whoever was near and what the source of that blood was. Unfortunately her paw steps were not as careful as she had tried to make them, and a branch snapped beneath her when she slipped behind a bush. When the voice filtered into her mind she stopped and perked up slightly; now she was certain she knew this Were. Instead of continuing to hide or run off, she slipped through the brush and peeked out the other side. Her green eyes locked onto golden feline ones. "Hi there," she chirped back in a friendly manner, tail wagging and smacking the bush. She slipped completely out of the bush but stopped a comfortable distance away from the panther that lay over her kill, she even went so far as to lower herself down to a less threatening position to show Nadya that she wasn't about to try and take her kill or hurt her. It was ironic that she would run into the Werepanther out in these woods again.
Though she was sad, she was doing a good job of hiding it behind a smile (or wolf grin). The only sign that the sadness still lingered inside of her like a hungry beast, waiting for her to slip up on her facade once, were the storm clouds in the sky, that seemed like they might start raining at any time. She crossed her paws in an almost humorous way, but it was more of a natural habit to cross her legs politely that she didn't even think about. "It's been a while Nadya, how have you been?" she asked, her head tilting curiously. Their last interaction had been brief but it had stuck in her mind as one she wouldn't forget, the knowledge she had gained from it something she would remember until she was able to experience it for herself.
