The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

PhD in Plant Biology Abigail Hughes
It was a dream. That is exactly what she told herself as her slate eyes remained closed tightly. Her hazy mind attempted to piece together the flashes in her mind that seemed to jump out at her. She recalled running, being chased around the warehouse for some reason. Perhaps she went out hunting, without Tobi, to bring him back some food. Always those that worked in the warehouse district spoke of the spotted feline or the cursed wolf marked with the devil's sign on her flank. Yet she could not figure out if she had managed to even grab a bite to eat. Though she could feel her exhausted form shift, eyes still closed, as she heaved a sigh of discord. She could feel numb in her legs and neck, feeling this odd crawling sensation wash over her as those feelings in her limbs began to return. Her mind still clouded allowed her more time to figure out just why she was so tired and restless at the same time. Running. She knew she had been running and she could faintly hear shouting behind her, most males. For sure she was running, being chased by others, sailors, workmen, no wait. She felt a raw feeling of pain between her shoulders as she rolled onto her side sighing is discontent once more. Slowly her blue-grey eyes would reopen and she would see nothing, but a bright white light.
Placing one paw over her eyes she would briefly lift her paw, barely allowing her eyes to finally adjust. Lifting her ebony skull slowly she felt that sharp stab of pain between her shoulder blades flare up once more, as her jumbled memory began to piece itself together, the sudden realization that she had been shot caused the poor girl to bark in surprise. Tilting her dial downwards to see if she was injured anywhere else, her grey ear twitched when she heard the sound of a human voice. Oi, we found her over at the warehouses, the girl turned to growl at me and I shot her! We found him, that big black fella in the same area too. Perhaps now those sailors can stop spreading fear about having wild animals running around." A rough snort would come out of her cold nose as she started to take a look of her surrounding, noticing one tall burly man walking past her with a shorter, balding, fatter fellow. Shaking her head she felt something tight tug at her and she would turn her dial around noticing a rather large leash hooked to a steal railing, but her leash wasn't alone. Beside it held another leash that would lead to the gigantic black panther sprawled out on the floor.
Scampering to her feet, grey paws would carry her lean frame backwards, pressing her side to the wall as she simply stared at shock. Why she was lying beside a damn panther she did not know and really she didn't want to know. Lifting her head some she would notice that they were in some funny room, with two silver tables with bright lights hanging from the ceiling above them, the walls decorated with cabinets and oddly shaped shiny tools. One grey ear twitched as she ducked her head, making herself small as she peered through the table, listening to the two men speak. "We'll shove the panther into his environment in a little bit, he'll still be drugged for a while. As for the wolf she'll be locked up and slowly introduced into the pack. If we're lucky these two will provide us with cubs and pups for our breeding program. Which would provide more money to keep the zoo opened. They should be waking up in the next hour or two, so we'll separate them beforehand." Seeing as how she was awake right now she doubted very seriously that this male panther beside her would remain asleep. In fact she was almost ready to give them a piece of her mind being contumely with them. Nervous she would turn around sinking her sharp teeth into the tightly wound leather leash, ignoring the chain that linked to the collar as she began to chew, as if her life depended on it. She did not wish to become cat food, or for that matter, be a part of this 'breeding program.'
