The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Shifting in front of her own kind was comfortable. Shifting in front of a Dark Hunter was completely unnerving. She was putting some trust into Azrael to not harm or kill her while she was in the process of changing. When he quickly took a step back out of his own fear she was grateful for the space. It was when she offered her phone to him, and a fair warning on how to speak to her mate, the rolling of his eyes was answered, with a soft growl. She was in no mood for him to be so full of himself. If he was that concerned about Serafina then he would do his best to follow her instruction. The lupine knew how to make Tobias listen and work with her. It was when she needed him to work with others that made things rather difficult. Patiently she stood there, arms crossed as she stood waiting...hoping this wasn't a bad idea. Why the man used her mates' formal name, she did not know, but when he used her formal name that clearly became a road block. Her pink lip curled slightly into a small simper. Why her spotted companion insisted on others using his made up nickname for her, she did not know, but apparently this was something she would need to warn to anyone the next time they spoke to him about her. It was when the blonde began to raise his voice that her eyes narrowed, another soft growl warning the man that he was straying from his attempt of being 'kind.' With the conversation done she caught the phone that was thrown at her. Her dial would tilt to the side for a moment as she attempted to translate what it was Tobias was trying to say. With a frown she shook her head in a defeated manner, not pleased to know this was where Serafina was.
If this has been a different point in time, Raven would have sworn she and her mate would be fantastic at 'Don't Say that Word.' Perhaps one day they could play it with someone, maybe another couple? Although it would be difficult to find another couple that was willing to endure her mate's presence. Easily she allowed that shift to overcome her. Only this time her size was quite...obviously smaller. The peculiar coated she-wolf was the size of a small wolf pup. Of course she looked absolutely adorable. With a wave of her little fluffy gray tail, she bounded towards the Dark Hunter lifting herself on her back paws and pressing her front paws against his leg. Big, blue-grey eyes looked up expectantly at the man. She had purposefully made herself this size to ensure that she was the appropriate size to accommodate him on this new journey to the West.
