The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

Nadya had no other choice but to trust Mira just as Mira had no choice but to trust her if the hunt was going to prove successful. The walk through the forest towards the elk's resting grounds was quiet. Idle chitchat with an odd individual wasn't exactly in her plan. In the quiet she was able to pick at that pack bond to Frost. It was better to have her Alpha as backup if needed.
When the lush short dewy grass turned to longer field grass Nadya slowed to a halt. She had done this hunt many times with her brother and Tobias. It was a simple take down if you knew what you were doing. She had never attempted it alone or with anyone else so was vastly unsure how the wolf would do. The panther easily explained Mira's side of the hunt and how to get the herd to go just where they were needed. Any other way would prove more work and likely unsuccessful.
Nadya hardly gave any room for input before she turned about and slunk away. The herd would come in fast and she needed to be in place long before Mira got the elk running. She followed the familiar route along the base of the trees until she figured she was at a good enough spot and gracefully launched up the side of the trunk and up into the foliage to rest on a heavy limb, her tail flicking in anticipation. It had been a very long time indeed since she had hunted with someone and taken on something bigger than a goat. There she would wait until Mira followed through on her end of the task.
Just when the panther thought Mira had quit and stalked off the sound of beating hooves pounding the ground met her pricked ears. Her ebony form rose slightly from the limb, tense in wait as the herd thundered from their resting place to the perceived safety of the small lake. Majority of predators around here would go through the hassle of trying to take down a large beast in the water so it proved logical for most. Predator's yellow eyes darted from each animal as it raced by vibrating the earth and the very tree she lay in wait within. Those keen senses also searched out for the dark wolf for it would take two to take down one of them. Any attempt on Nadya's part to leave her hiding place without knowing Mira was in tow would end in serious injury on her part.
Near the outskirts of the herd Nadya finally caught sight of Mira snapping at one of the elk's legs. Good, she had singled one out. However, it was a bit far out from Nadya's reach. Nadya's tense anticipation turned to quick movement. It was a dangerous move but was also now or never. The ebony panther strained the breaking point of the limb as she ran out to the edge of it before leaping off into the air above the stampeding herd. Nadya was a little off but not nearly enough to land her beneath the hooves of those around them. Her claws were extended midair and hooked easily into the hide of the elk Mira was snapping at as she landed with all her weight to its back with her front paws with her back slashing to scramble up its side and not fall to her death in the stampede. The very thing that made a jaguar dangerous was their bite, those long curved canines and jaw strength able to crush through skulls with ease. Due to her landing position she was too far to get ahold of the animal's skull but latched down into the top of its shoulder caused blood to begin streaking the elk's side. "Get it!!" Nadya shouted to Mira, hoping the wolf understood to do her part in how to take down the back half of their prize.
