South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

death incarnate & night triumphant

Andras's night had truly taken an unexpected turn. From being called a demon to the witch realizing he was actually fae, to the ghost family within the forest. It indeed was one of the most interesting nights he had, had in Sacrosanct.

Again, his eyes shift to the small reunion before him, the apparitions hugging joyously. It was strange, to see the dead like this. It had questions swirling through his mind so suddenly he was surprised he had never thought of them before. Do the dead move on? Or do they remain in between, part of this world and the afterlife? Furrowing his brows at the thought, he turns back to Sera and rests his hand on her shoulder, not allowing her to remove the coat. The faerie male noted the surprise dancing in her eyes but didn't make mention of it. Of course, the man could be gentlemanly if he wanted to, he rarely was unless he wanted something. And in this case, he wanted something.

Andras is delighted when she doesn't flat out tell him no but he hesitates for only a moment, not entirely sure if he wanted to tell her everything. He didn't actually know the woman, what he did know was her magical ability was useful and it could help him in the long run. Instead, he's quiet for a moment, mulling over what he wants to tell her as he walks slowly through the forest, listening to the witch trail behind him. Pausing, he looks over his shoulder at the raven-haired woman, "I want to find my sister," he shrugs. The statement was wholly true, though he refrained from saying why he wanted to see his sister.

He didn't particularly want to see her, as it would only drag up awful memories of her death, he could still picture her slaughtered body in his mind, he needed to see her. Andras was entirely certain she would know who was behind the attacks all those centuries ago. Scowling at the memory he continues on hardly looking back to see if Sera was still following him. There's a moment of silence before he breaks it again, his voice rather thoughtful, "Is this all that the afterlife is?" he asks, waving a hand around him at their surroundings, "Part of this world and part of another? How... tragic it must be to be forgotten about from the people around you," he states, realizing just how lonely it truly must be.

It doesn't take them long to reach the forests' edge where he halts in the shadows of the trees. Turning back to Serafina, he waits for her to catch up before he allows those magnificent wings to slowly sink back into his back, a shudder racking his body. Closing his dark eyes, he inhales deeply before releasing the breath back out through his nose. "Perhaps you should lead the rest of the way?" he suggests, his hand casually sweeping out so that the woman could take the lead, feeling less like himself now that his wings were gone.

"I could most certainly lead by scent all the way there, though I think it would be much quicker if you were to take us, wouldn't you agree, darling?" he grins devilishly at her as he waits patiently.
