The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

mira
Mira could not help that nagging feeling that she was a monster, not being a werewolf. No, that wasn't monstrous in her opinion, opposing popular belief. To be a wolf felt empowering, beautiful, and freeing. She felt herself, felt complete when she was able to embrace the wolf. Now, she was something else, something different entirely. Not just a wolf, but a monster. What else could she be? She bled lava and her skin could turn into volcanic rock with cracks in it, where oozing molten seeped out. She must have looked terrifying, she couldn't even embrace the forest in the same way when she lost control. How was she going to hone these abilities? The concept felt entirely daunting as much as it felt impossible. It was a good think she was resilient and not one to simply throw in the towel when things were bleak. She sure as hell wouldn't play the victim, even if it ripped her apart from the inside out. As long as there was breath in her lungs, she was not a victim.
Yet, here she was, facing the fear that she could lose control within this forest and burn it to the ground, with nothing but charred wood, ash, and ruin. The risk was high and perhaps she shouldn't be playing with fire by enjoying Raven's company out in the forest where anything could happen. She put her at risk just by being here and that should have been enough to send her away. Maybe one day she would learn to enjoy these powers, but today was not one of them. Today she hated what she had become. She no longer was comfortable in her own skin because she no longer understood what she even was. A walking wolf volcano ready to go off. She was nothing but a time bomb waiting to go off.
Regardless, this felt like a much needed distraction, chasing after bunnies, being in the skin she knew well, the skin she was content in. That pitch black, ebony fur plush and shiny. No one could tell what she was capable, the beast that dwelled within her, that she possessed a volcanic heart that could eventually take over. It certainly helped seeing Raven so content, that it seemed to help push it back, to stifle that ugly doubt and toxic thoughts. She would happily snuff out those worries and thoughts that plagued her mind, even if only for a little while.
She casually allowed her tail to wag to and fro even, with the weight of the world upon her shoulders she would not cripple herself from living. Mira chased after Raven who was in hot pursuit, right on the rabbit's cotton tail. He was close, she could smell that panic and scent of rabbit thick in the air and what it touched upon the ground. The trail carried on into the thick brush, the scent prominent amongst forest's musk. Smart little bugger. But they were smarter. Mira stepped closer to the tangled brush, shoving her nose to capture its scent. Her acute golden eyes tried to capture a glance and yet couldn't pick up a thing; they would need to flush it out.
Raven seemed to be receptive to her plan, there was a chance that they wouldn't be able to capture the rabbit and it would take off further into the forest. Regardless, she set her precarious plan into motion, causing a commotion that would scare that rabbit from its safe hiding place and into plain sight. Her feet entered the tangled brush, the dry thistle and branches snapping beneath her weight. The thickness of her fur protected her skin from the sharp, jagged edges that threaten to pierce tender unprotected skin. A human would be sliced up and bloody, but a wolf was designed to withstand the unforgiving environment. It seemed to work because Raven positioned herself right where the creature tried to sneak away. Clearly he was too petrified by Mira than to realise that he would enter the waiting jaws of the other wolf.
The pitch black wolf moved to take further chase but Raven snagged the scatter brained creature within her waiting jaws, before pinning it to the ground with her massive paws. She saw the way it tried to wriggle free, clearly flailing to make its great escape. It was almost too easy. Mira trotted to the wolf, a lighthearted expression flickering within her blazing golden eyes. A laugh escapes her, shaking her body to rid herself of the decaying debris, dead leaves and brittle twigs that clung to her coat.
"What are you planning to do with it? Eat it? Or tickle it to death?" She teased in lighthearted sarcasm, her maw parted in what seemed like a wolfish grin. "Come on, let it go and we will see who can catch it first. I promise I will take it easy on you." A hint of mischief sparked within her golden eyes, her tail waving. She moved even closer, lowering her chiselled head to peer at the little rabbit who was clearly scared shitless. He froze, his little nose twitching as if hoping to be as still as possible. Was it really thinking that playing dead would get it out of this mess? There wasn't a hope in the world for its perfect escape, not beneath Raven's heavy paws keeping him secure.
