The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The University places a high focus both upon educating future generations but also on research to help revolutionize the world. The University welcomes the talent of students across the world to enroll and unlock their unlimited potential. With applications from across the nation, classes fill up quickly.

death incarnate & night triumphant
The silence was companionable, he hardly felt like he should break the quiet of the night while they sauntered through the trees. Andras knew every inch of this forest as he spent a significant amount of time here and while he was aware of the pond that came into view, the Fae had never taken much time to appreciate it. As the reflection of the moon shimmers upon the water, his hazel eyes are drawn to it enjoying the sense of... peace that crept over him. It's only when they arrive at the waters edge, Navi crouching down and abruptly shoving her hands into the cool liquid, is when the silence is broken. Casually stuffing his hands into his pockets once more, he remains several feet away as he listens to her question. Andras hasn't realized he would be giving faerie lessons in the dead of night, "Fae who are born live relatively normal lives, they grow into their bodies and into their powers while a human who is changed doesn't have that opportunity. If a human is changed too young, their growth and development stops and their powers are essentially thrown into their face. Control tends not to be there," he adds a weak smile.
There was a sort of agreement amongst the Fae to not change younglings, though there were still creatures of darkness that did it to merely amuse themselves. Noting the moment she stands and casually moves over to him, Andras merely plants his feet and glances down at the small woman not particularly caring she stared directly at him. Perhaps it would unnerve some people but he was far too old to do with such... trivial emotions. As another question dances on her lips, he quirks a humored smile at her. My, she was inquisitive. "Yes, I was born Fae. Both my parents were pure blooded faeries as well," he comments with a small dip of his head. Pushing back the sadness that so wished to cage his heart, he plasters a smirk onto his midnight lips, removing a hand from his pocket to run through his hair, teasing the strands into a rather ruffled look.
When she glances down at her feet, he arches a brow at her... shyness. Andras didn't particularly take the faerie girl to be shy, nor did he expect to show, at least outwardly, her feelings to someone else. So, he doesn't say anything, though he's tempted to rest a hand on her shoulder to encourage her to go on, yet the man doesn't. He wasn't sure the girl would appreciate being touched. When she finally draws her green eyes back to his own hazel, his eyes soften a touch as she speaks. They all had demons that haunted their past, creatures that lingered over their waking dreams; Navi was no exception. "I am at your disposal. Use my knowledge as you wish and I can assure you I will answer all your questions to the best of my ability," he raises a hand over his heart as if he were pledging himself to the girl, a dip of his head is offered and a faint smile of assurance toys at the corner of his mouth. There's a moment of silence as he finishes answering her when her name is practically blurted from her mouth. Eyes flicking up in surprise, he laughs quietly, "Ah, so she graces me with her name," he replies, amusement dressing his lyrics. "Pleasure to officially meet you, Navi. Now I can stop thinking of you as a strange little faerie girl," he chortles teasing the poor Fae with his absurd notions.
As he extends the offer of his home to her, he can see the expression that dances across her face. A set of conflicting emotions seem to engulf her as she rattled of a series of questions. "Does there have to be a catch?" He asks though he isn't particularly surprised, she was wary of strangers and that wasn't always a bad thing. "There is no catch, Navi. If anything, I would be granting you access to my court and asking you to join me so I can help protect those who need it," he shrugs, "I wouldn't call that a catch." Andras has to pause in his explanation as the girl steps closer, once again invading his personal space. Tilting his head down to better look at her, he doesn't recede a step, instead he quirks another smile, "You really enjoy invading someone's bubble, don't you?" He laughs, though he's clearly comfortable with the woman, not hardly caring that she was practically stepping on his toes.
"To answer your several questions," he clears his throat, "Yes, my home consists of only Fae. As I can only rule Fae there will only be faeries under my protection. Though, there are a few exceptions. A couple members of my court are engaged in relations with those who are not Fae and I offer safe haven to them as well. They aren't allowed in without their faerie companions and at anytime I can remove them from my home. When I mentioned only those I give permission may enter, that is entirely true. It's magically bound that way," he explains, going farther in-depth than he would have expected. "I invited you because you remind me of someone from my past and the thought of you spending the night alone in the forest doesn't sit well with me," he responds with a casual shrug, looking away to glance into the trees, listening to the breeze that so rattled the leaves above.
His brows raise in surprise as she continues to question him, though, Andras would be lying if he didn't enjoy it. It reminded him of a blonde human girl that had so captured his attention in recent days. "My court has been around for well over a millennia. I am merely rebuilding it," he answers truthfully. And as Navi goes on, insisting he be honest with her; he shrugs inwardly. There was no harm in answering her. "My intentions, as you so put it, are merely to protect. Even you mentioned I'm the first faerie you've met. Do you know why?" He pauses, the rhetorical question hanging between them, "Our race is dwindling faster than you can expect. Before, we were a proud race, abundant just like any other supernatural beings. We are hunted and are on the brink of extinction. The thought of being wiped off the face of the earth after all the centuries of being apart of it aggravates me more than you can imagine. I don't particularly enjoy the thought of our kind being subjected to fear," he growls, his eyes growing dark as he remembers snippets of his past and though he tries, he can't quite push the screams of the dying from his mind.
It takes several moments before he can slam a stone barrier down over that darkness that so lingered in his eyes. Glancing down at Navi, he tilts his head, inspecting her, "Did I answer all your questions?" He purrs at her, knowing full well that she had many more but he was curious. Even then, the High Lord wasn't sure if the faerie girl would accept his invitation.
