The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. Tetradore's flirtatious comment entirely went over her head, her mind was drowning in terrible complications whirling about her like blood hungry sharks. Yes had she been given the right moment to mull over such thoughts she may have prodded further, toying that dangerous fine line she rarely dared to entertain. She didn't forget that innocent night she had fallen asleep within is strong, comforting arms. Curled up like kittened seeking for warmth. They hadn't brought up that moment. But she wouldn't make things awkward, she wasn't a love struck puppy, following a man around with moon eyes just because he gave her a little attention. Yet, even if she would deny, deny, deny... She thought about him, the way he showed her his vulnerable side in a way that didn't quite seem normally characteristic of the panther made up of steel. Perhaps they were more alike than they would ever admit.
Yet the mention of such salacious words were enough to make a subtle grin play upon her wolfish muzzle as she shook her head. Of course, the lava glowed wildly, enough to keep that smug and amused expression to herself. She may have not reacted as expected, but the wolf would not quickly forget that banter, even if it were words to soothe the raging inferno that threatened to consume everything. If only, they could simply give in to that carefree banter, if only they were in another place and time they could simply be. Yet the world, or fate, or whatever one believed in, had a snarky way of making things more complicated than they had to be. In fact, Tetradore and the lava wolf were gaining quite the track record of complicated and dire.
She felt the cooling touch of his form against hers, amused with the notion that she could feel, even with her lava she could still feel him, feel steadied by his calm and confident presence. The words he uttered in fact did catch her off guard, unable to keep that amused expression subtle this time. "Famous last words..Tettycat." Something close to mischief crossed her blazing, golden eyes, if she were human she would have probably winked at him. Instead, she allowed her nose brush against his cheek like a playful kiss on the cheek. He was rather good at this distracting that she almost tuned out the sound of sirens and the lava that spilled from the deep cracks that exposed her core, no that can't be good.
They were swept up, mid sentence sliced off, within the inky blackness of his shadows, it consumed them, spitting them up in a most unlikely place. She wasn't quite sure where they would end up, most likely some shady, abandoned warehouse and not some quaint private cove. Even if he she went entirely nuclear she couldn't cause harm to anyone. Immediately she felt a wave of relief settle, if only temporarily) within her inferno heart. The cool, serene water hissed against her intense firestorm touch.
Perhaps it was not that surprising that his species were strong swimmers, after all the man had surrounded himself with water. She wondered if he used it to protect himself against something, or just took comfort with the vast ocean so close to him. He explained how his species was quite prone the water.
"Interesting, I can't really say I'm all that surprised. You do live on the water.." She treaded within the water, finding security within the hissing sound of the cool water against her flesh. As fascinating as it was to learn more about what that panther side of him was capable of, the conversation drifted to just what cajoled her strange wild powers to surface.
Now for the hard part, it wasn't exactly easy to explain what had transpired earlier that even, before she set fire to the forest in that uncontrollable onslaught of her roaring powers. She didn't want to know if he thought any less of her when she explained all that happened, her choices made to make it through the night and to remain free. Even despite all the warnings he had given her she should have not been manipulated as she was. How easy it would be to keep it all from him, to handle this situation quietly and cut her losses. But for some reason, she felt that need to be honest with him, after all he had done for her, he deserved her honesty. He hadn't offered her any less and she would do the same.
The lava wolf couldn't help but feel weak and powerless against these monstrous foes that seemed to only want to control her, keep her locked away and owned like some attack mutt. She wasn't going to do Negan's dirty work anymore, nor was she going to trade that life in with being Frost's bitch either. She had more than fulfilled her duty for that jackass of an alpha, so why couldn't he just let her go? Why the fuck did he have to somehow know the one man she was determined to avoid, it was bad, bad joke.
As she climbed out of the water, her lithe form pulling her from the water that cooled her flesh. Not an ounce of water clung to her body, having evaporated from her form. At least she was black again, more like charred obsidian stone. She could already miss the lush fur of her coat and wondered if she would possess it again, or if she was doomed to be this lava thing for the rest of her life. She spoke of her tale, all too aware of the fixed stare of the jaguar that stood a few feet away. She drew in a breath, allowing the cool air fill her aching lungs.
Her tale ended with her out of the water now, still black with no sign of the lava despite the ominous glow of her eyes. Mira was surprised just how well, he seemed to take that tale she bestowed upon him. It was a tough jagged pill to swallow. Yet, he hardly bat an eyelash, remaining eerily calm as though he truly became the granite his form took. It were his calm words that allowed her gaze to meet his feline features. She knew she needed to make this promise to him, she felt it in her bones. "I won't let any harm come to you and your pack, I promise you. I would sooner leave to deflect any blowback that would fall your way." Her words were sturdy, steadfast and true. Those golden eyes gleam vibrantly, dangerously so. She didn't give her word often but when she did she meant it. Tetradore mentioned that they could possibly manipulate the task Frost would surely concoct for her. Perhaps they could. But that stallion was wicked smart and would surely sniff out a flat out lie or half-truth. But perhaps, there was a chance to navigate her way through the tangle of the disorder that waged war upon her senses.
He said it would take time. But who had time when it didn't even belong to her. That she was sure of, but how did he know that all of this would somehow work out. Life wasn't like the movies, such as the jungle book where the good ones save the day. No the world was full of the Negans and Frost's of the world, ruthless and dangerous. "How can you be so sure?" She asked uncertain of this so called future she deluded herself into thinking she could have here in Sacrosanct.
Oh how the wolf bristled at the thought of Frost making her submit to his whims, using her weakness of that newfound ability against her. She growled fiercely at the situation, that sound resonating deep within her core. "You told me yourself that he is dangerous. I now know firsthand what he is capable of. What he would ever want from me to put aside all that money he was undoubtedly offered for my capture? It doesn't make any sense." The answer was simple.. It couldn't be good. She grit her teeth as she glowed wildly like a beacon the darkness. The red glow reflecting off the water. Frost didn't seem like the charitable type and then again, neither did Tetradore, even though he had been nothing but kind to her. But Frost was made of a different kind of fabric than Tetradore was. That fiery glow of her body flared up again, making her appear almost like a molten phoenix. She sighed, shaking that strange impending feeling that this would all go to hell somehow. At least not without a fight.
But for now, in this cove, she is safe. The woman could live with that, at least for now.
"I swear, this damsel in distress thing is not planned.." How impossible this man has saved her not once but twice. How did she get herself into these messes she would never understand. But she was certain, if there came a day where Tetradore needed her help, she would have his back without question, she owed him that much.
