South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Call Home ... The Tune In Our Hearts

Killian would look over from the bar at everyone conversing and working. It would bring a bright smile across his scruffed face as he would carefully hand a glass from the rack that was hung just perfectly above the bar so it didn't get in the way of the patrons that would come in.
This little corner of the bistro was a paradise for Killian, as he would listen to everyone having fun.
He did take note of Abigail's accent and would find himself intrigued a bit. Perhaps as things went on here, he would get to know everyone here more and become friends with them.
Killian couldn't help but chuckle and hang up another glass on the rack as he would feel at home here.

Not to mention he couldn't help but feel that same sense of pride wash over him, like mum and dad were watching him and feeling so happy of the son they had raised.
Killian would start to get into a rhythm and soon he would have just about all of the glasses polished and hung up for viewing, but he was far from done. He knew he had some more glasses to get cleaned up and shined to Adelaide's liking and his own.
After all, this was his station and he knew Adelaide chose him for this for a reason. It wasn't because of his nationality, but it was because he had some experience in this area.

Back home in Ireland, Killian spent a lot of time in the local pubs and eventually, he'd ask to be taught the ever evolving craft that is bartending.
He knew he'd have to learn something that would help him get somewhere in the world.
Might as well be something that he learned and mastered after a couple years.
It was almost like Adelaide knew he had a knack for this in her mind, and he was quite alright with her reading his mind.
After his little bit of daydreaming, he would hear Adelaide start to give a speech to everyone in the bistro.

Listening attentively, he would see how proud she was to see everyone here, and would offer words that would uplift the entire team. Killian knew down inside, that she would be an amazing leader and he was happy to be working for her.
