South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Don't Believe Thy Majesty, They'll Eat You Alive

There was an air about him at the present time. He had a certain look to him, like he was looking for company that could satisfy his want for someone or something that was bad. Braxton, clothed in a vibrant red shirt, and his ever so favorite and signature black jacket and dark worker pants, and shoes that were a dark shade of grey, roamed the familiar paths of Hyde Park. This was where he and that delicate little flower of his met. He smirked a little at the thought of her, those baby blues looking at him in sheer terror, and her voice that was filled to the brim with nervousness. Little did she know, she was only feeding an addiction; One that no one could fix for that matter. As he walked into the main area of Hyde Park where, he walked by that bench where the lovers had sat.

The dark man snickered with venom as he would sit down for a moment. Reaching into his inner pocket for a fresh pack of cigarettes that still had the plastic around them. He'd swiftly rip the plastic from the container and threw it in the nearest trash bin. With great ease, he'd start packing the cigarettes with force. A woman, dressed in a floral print dress and opaque heels that were also matched with a cream jacket passed by him. She waved at him and flashed a beautiful smile, but Braxton would simply look at her and she what she really was: Anything but innocent. Her appearance hid many details to the normal eye, but not to Braxton. "I'd appreciate you not looking at me... But...Shame about your fiance turning out to like the same equipment. Then again, you always were easy." He said to her as he opened his smokes, and would pull a fresh cigarette from the paper package. Putting the filter between his lips, he smirked as the woman gasped at him with teary eyes and slapped him across the face. The cigarette that sat perfectly in his mouth, would fling out of his lips and on to the wet ground.

His only reaction was a chuckle that was of the most villainous nature, as he stood up and tilted his head. "Dearest. I like pain, and I haven't had a good slap in the face since my late wife... Care to give me another? Maybe slap me like you slapped the man who stole your fiance?" Braxton would laugh as he pulled another smoke out, and would watch the woman storm off in tears. Braxton felt a great rush go through him as he would waste no time lighting his cigarette, and inhaling the nicotine, and exhaling a huge plume of smoke. He'd sit back down on the bench and look around. The park certainly reminded him of how things used to be. Colonial Times were much different in the fact of there was much for woodlands and wildlife, vice in this day and age. Where if you went out of town, you could see homes and little shops set up.

Braxton did miss those days, he did love the ease of technology, and how his wealth he accumulated throughout his years made it to where he could own whatever or even, whoever if he felt like it. However, cigarettes where his go to vice for the time being. Taking another long drag, and exhaling yet another plume, he scanned the park. All he could see for the time being was people just enjoying themselves, and kids laughing and playing. "Tsch. What a disgusting display." Braxton said aloud as he flicked the ash from his smoke and would turn back to observing the trees and birds fluttering about. It was clear he was bored, and he needed some form of human interaction, or better yet, entertainment.
