South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Sebastian Ellingtonfor pleasure seldom has a cure

He was rather certain that he recognized that hunched over figure, even despite that rather unusual outfit she was sporting at the given moment. It was decidedly...peppy, considering the clothes she usually wore. The Dark Hunter seemed rather involved in whomever she was speaking too on that cellular device tucked within her fingers. That weak simper on her lips at his approach and that nearly glassy look to her eyes told him well enough of that. Even so, surely she wouldn't mind a small interruption? Then again, this was Gia. She tended to mind his whole existence sometimes. Nevertheless, the vampire leaned against that small bar she sat on, the man commenting casually of how much better she looked then last time he had seen her - half drugged and blubbering on for reasons he had little understood. Though, he hadn't quite understood much of what she had said that night to begin with. That warm simper spread across his features the moment that her gaze turned from that cellphone and towards him. A singular eyebrow rose ever so slightly at that rather peculiar look he was rewarded with. It was almost as if the woman seemed unsure of how to regard him, though, considering what their meetings of late had consisted of, he wasn't sure he blamed her either.

That squeak she provided him was rather unusual for the normally feisty young woman. He near purposefully offered her a warm smile, the vampire entirely content to remain where he was with a bit of distance between them. It was clear, in that moment, that she was still not entirely comfortable with his presence. In fact, she reminded him more like a skittish feral cat than anything else. That comment of her state of health, however, prompted a chuckle from the back of his throat. "You definitely are better than half-dead." He agreed with a smirk. Sebastian eyed the yoga mat still strapped to the young woman's back, even in spite of her seated position. This seemed so out of her element that it still intrigued him, even if he remained silent on his observations. Rather, his blue eyes returned to her fair features at that inquiry of his presence within the suburbs. A small shrug crossed his shoulders though, truly he was uncertain if he should admit the truth behind his visiting that far quieter part of town. "The city center has been a bit....much lately." He responded simply, the vampire near carefully side stepping that it was hunting alone that brought him here, much less that he had a much better chance of finding someone to eat here. No, she was not yet ready to hear that.

What he hadn't expected, however, was the soft admittance that it was good to see him. Sebastian had never thought such words would ever leave her lips. "It's good to see you too, Gia." He uttered softly. Maybe, that night all those months ago had served some good after all. Maybe it had provided a bridge of sorts between the two of them, one that should certainly be treaded on carefully. That almost playful punch in the arm hardly perturbed the Englishman in the slightest, rather, those words caused laughter to bubble onto his lips. "Christ, me too, mate. You should see the front of my house. The bloody paparazzi are like fucking lawn ornaments." His head shook ever so slightly, those British words certainly had a habit of slipping out from time to time. He was still getting used to a life within the public's eye. It was unlike anything he had ever quiet experienced before and yet, if this was the price he had to pay for Dorian, it was certainly worth it. It was, in fact, the very mention of that engagement that brought that grin back to his features and yet this one was somehow...softer. "It's good. We're leaving for Italy early next month to handle the finishing bits of the wedding. You're welcome to attend, if you wanted, Gia." It was crazy to think of the dwindling days before he was once again a married man. Tose very butterflies blooming all over again within his chest at the mere thought of it. His first wedding had never been so....prolific. Those eyes of the very world would be on them in just shy of a month and there was no doubt that Sebastian was nervous.
