The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. The time Nadya spent in the shower left her with only time for her thoughts to get the best of her. Her emotions seized her body as that possibility of Frost not getting to her and the twins in time was a very real possibility. It made her realize how utterly lacking she was in protecting her children in her human form; she relied on her feline form far too much. She needed to learn to fight. It was that determination that had her seek Frost out in his office though she didn't disturb him. She never questioned what business he partook in just as she never questioned her brother about his monetary excess.
Her request to learn how to fight was unsurprisingly accepted. "Thank you." Nadya took Frost's offered hand and followed him towards the riding school. There was no other place she'd rather be than at his side. These training lessons would ensure that that was just where she remained. The smell when they entered the barn was...new. It was with great hesitation now that she followed Frost down the aisle to the designated stall.
"Are you sure about that one?" Nadya eyed the pony with suspicion as the age had misted the eyes when caught in the right angle of light. "He looks...old." Shouldn't he be in some pasture to retire, not carrying kids around? Although Nadya had her suspicions about the pony's capabilities, she still followed Frost's directions and grabbed the equipment he had indicated. For it's size it was surprisingly heavy and nearly dropped it at first. "Can't they make these things lighter?" With all the advancement in today, how could they not make these things less cumbersome? It was with a heavy huff that Nadya set the equipment down over the fence and once more turned her attention to the pony Frost had attached to the fence.
"I don't think-" Perhaps it was the feline part of her saying that this was how stampedes started but Nadya's body tensed, hand curled into a fist when Frost took her hand and reached to place it on the animal. So she hadn't exactly had the classic little girl upbringing of wanting a pony and riding horses...or even been around them. Her first experience with a horse had been Frost; and she had just witnessed him tear the throat out of a man not too long ago. It took a moment for the cringing in her face to relax along with her fingers to move with Frost's guidance down Chester's shoulder. Nadya's hand remained, or rather frozen, on Chester when Frost pulled away to begin demonstrating how to put on the pad and saddle, though she cast a few wary sidelong glances at the pony's head.
"Huh? Already?" Nadya blinked back at Frost watching him step away leaving her alone with Chester. She was right back in high school being asked a question and unable to answer. Slowly she made her body step closer to the saddle, for a moment her hand leaving the pony only to quickly reconnect again. If there was one lesson she was taking away from this it was to keep your hand on the animal at all times. Although her features had reached a place of calm, inside her head was a jumble of oh my god's and rerunning everything Frost had said back to herself.
Her fingers traced the pad along the pony's shoulder to where the saddle took over. "Why do you have to tighten it so much?" Nadya bent down to take hold of the strap, feeling highly invasive of Chester's space as she grappled around his midsection below. The pony which had been highly tolerant the entire time continued to be patient, up until the point that Nadya's attempt to tighten the buckle once more twisted it, bringing it off the pad and pinching his skin. The squeal and jump of the pony near matched Nadya's gasp of fear as she too leapt back into Frost. "Ok...nope...just nope." Nadya shook her head as her hands gripped Frost's forearm, her heart trying to calm its hammering away at the startle. "I don't...I don't want to put a saddle on you." She didn't care if she had to wear the heaviest backpack. The thought of putting such a thing on her boyfriend bothered her. He wasn't just an animal, not truly, and hated the fact that he had been treated as such. "Can't I learn without that?" Her voice was softer now, turning those soft brown eyes up on him.
