She didn't know about Abigail's background. Everyone else seemed to have grown up so differently from her. It never would have occured to Malia though that even growing up with a human half that someone would choose to be outside in the woods. Well, that's a lie. Even though she had Frost's house to live in and all the comforts that come with it, she herself still chose to go hunting in the woods at night and such, just to remind herself of who she truly was. Abigail looked so excited about pouncing on someone. The idea made Malia make a yipping sound like a laugh. Then Abigail asked if they could find one of Malia's friends to pounce on if they couldn't find butterflies. The idea made Malia's lip twitch with humor as she nodded. "Of course! What fun that would be." Her eyes danced at the idea of both of them pouncing on Frost or Henry. The idea was laughable. Abigail seemed to agree that between the two of them, they should be able to get any butterfly that got in their path. Malia then asked her about flowers cause she knew that's usually when she saw butterflies. Abigail grew thoughtful, trying to think of where she might have seen some. Then she said her butterflies were going that way and turned to head toward the North. Malia nodded and turned with her, ready to follow right with her. "Right. Then let's get them." She offered even for Abigail to ride on her. Usually the idea would disgust her since she hated the idea of being anyone's pet but Abigail was just a cute little WerePanda or something and somehow that made it okay. Plus she knew Abigail certainly couldn't get anywhere very fast on those fluffy little legs so it only made sense. Otherwise she'd be walking slow for a long time to reach their destination. Abigail seemed to like the idea. She came bumbling over and reached for Malia's side, telling her to get down lower. Malia smiled and lowered herself fully to the ground, lying on her stomach so Abigail could get on her back. "Let me know when you're settled. Then we're off." She was thankful Abigail wasn't trying to claw her up or anything trying to get up on her back. |
