Izzy was giggly and delighted at having the woman's attention. She seemed fun and friendly so there was no reason in her child's mind to steer clear. The toddler happily followed Arya with her mom and Micah trailing beside. When they reached the relatively familiar children's area, Izzy made that beeline to the tidepool touching area. It was the favorite of all the children after all- being able to touch things was the best. The temperature of the water was always a shock though, you always forgot how cold the critters really liked it.
Nadya held Micah as he watched the starfish on Arya's hand inquisitively though seemed very non interested in trying it himself. His grip on his mother tightened as if afraid the starfish would get him. While her brother was unsure of the new critter hug, Izzy didn't even look in her kin's direction, her attention entirely glued on Arya and the starfish. "I want to." The small girl held out her hands palm up, not exactly understanding how to hold the starfish but she had always been told to hold things with two hands so this seemed appropriate. Nadya rolled her eyes good heartedly at her daughter but listened to Arya explain not just how she had come to the city but also what kind of Were she was. It honestly wasn't too surprising that the pair hadn't run into each other before despite the years spent living in Sacrosanct. Arya was an entirely different category of Were, near completely waterbound while Nadya's preferred the forest. Nadya also hadn't started wandering over to the beaches and aquarium until a few months ago when the twins became old enough.
Nadya shifted Micah on her hip, "I'm a jaguar, panther, and the twins are leguars technically- their father was a leopard." Although in curiosity one day she had looked up what the twins were called, she had never actually voiced it...and much less talked about their father. She spent so much time of the twins life as a single mother that it was odd to know in the back of her mind that he was roaming about in the same town still. Those thoughts were quickly shoved aside as she set Micah down despite his protests, "You're getting too heavy to be carried all the time." Nadya's attention returned to Arya once Micah had resorted to clinging to her legs instead. Since she had never seen a Wereseal or any other water based Were it was a curiosity. "Are there others like you that you know of? Do you have a pack?...or do you call it something different?" Nadya offered a small smile, "Sorry, I'm just...I've never met a seal before. Most of my acquaintances are land based predators like big cats and canines. My alpha is a horse though and the rest of us are predators which is an interesting turn of events."
