The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.
Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. we built this city on broken glass
How easy it was to see that insecurity upon the woman's features, though perhaps, insecurity was not quite the right word. Uncertainty, hesitancy, fear even- that curious blend of considerations still resulting in that slightly tense hold to her figure and the concern that seemed to line her features. His consumption and praise of those lemon bars, fleeting though both were, seemed to settle her to some degree and yet she continued to wince as if in some sort of pain- or that supposed 'other' persisted in her struggle to take over the woman's mind and body. How poorly this would work unless Raven was willing to embrace his methods so entirely- even then- she would be required to practice, most likely with those around her. Frost well aware that such a fear persisted within her still that she would bring them harm. How curious it was that she, a veritable martyr, had taken so few steps to prevent against her most glaring strength and weakness all at once especially when it came to those she loved. How deeply did these very fears run that they might overcome her need to protect? Truly he supposed, little good would come from merely considering the woman and that plethora of reasons or excuses or justifications she might otherwise have. It would be far better to simply get to the bottom of that matter early, Frost responding readily to her words then. His reply seeming to take her off guard and yet he said nothing off it. His insistence he could hear both voices within her mate seeming to come as a surprise and yet- it was hardly as if he spoke of it often. Frost having little need nor care to hear those internal musings of Tobias and......Tobias? Raven, however, seemed to almost long after those very musings near wistfully. His own features frowning softly then. Frost seeing little need to be cruel to her as his shoulders rose in a shrug.
"The thoughts of the sane one are often more difficult to hear. For what it is worth though he is surprisingly articulate and a good strategist. It is unfortunate he is not more...present."
She could surely take from that information what she liked. Frost attempting to offer her some fleeting extension of good will with that simple exchange of information before his questions shifted to something more direct. The stallion seeking to understand whether or not Raven truly understood the depths of her own fears or indeed had grasped any level of mastery over this other half. The curly-haired woman, in the least, seeming to accept her own lack of control while expressing a desire not to allow that Other to take command as it so often did in those moments if heightened adrenaline. Control. She lacked control. That very facet Frost himself deemed by far the most important and yet, he supposed, it was hardly as if anyone had been present to teach her before now. Perhaps her ignorance in this had some measure for forgiveness. In the very least she knew as to her own issues and that in itself was a battle already won. Frost, in that moment, simply content to nod his understanding. The stallion moving several paces forward then only to be met with some version of what he supposed was a growl- one Raven was quick to seize control off and yet her head dipped in some version of submissive shame all the same. Frost frowning softly. His words coming quickly then in those same cool lyrics as always despite the abruptness within them.
"Raven. Why are you sorry? It is that meekness that makes your Other side feel that you are not worthy of being in control. If you want to growl then growl. Growl and move on. Acknowledge it, express it, then control it. Trying to subdue that Other entirely will do nothing. You need to work with it."
There was nothing wrong with those more... primal expressions and yet, he suspected, Raven had been told all her life that their was. That Other so currently existed in a state of all or nothing and yet that would do no one any good. It would be far better, far more sensible, to acknowledge that Others existence in those moments she desired to express something- allow a controlled version of that very expression- and then carry on. The Other likely not to feel ignored, as if She had contributed and by that notion far more likely to remain dormant, satisfied that she had been acknowledged and that Raven, this Raven, could handle that danger. His own gaze glanced upward once more at the words of the woman. Frost merely allowing one violet eye to raise beneath that forelock of snowy hair.
"Your right. I don't care and I already know. I'd be more surprised if she did like me."
Raven, for her part, seemed to continue to struggle with whatever it was that turned within her mind in that moment. Frost hardly choosing to pry for now. The stallion already assured it was more then likely that Other and her desires for control once more. Frost seeking, for now, a ready distraction. His hand waved lightly, a rather large scarecrow stuffed with straw appearing to his left. That dummy no more than an illusion and yet a decidedly realistic one at that as he waved toward it. That stallion...curious of something else now.
"If I asked you to attack this- how would you do it? Tell me, what would be your first move?"
