South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Ascension Center of Equitation

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Park

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.

Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium

The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Point Defiance is also widely known for its conversation efforts regarding the breed and release program of Red Wolves.

The Outskirts

Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

Azrael

Only Fools Walk Where Angels Fear To Tread

Azraels arms folded easily across his chest as he watched that vampire and immortal child storm off and away from him. His golden eyes content to narrow in a veritable glare as they did. He had hardly won a new friend tonight by any means and yet he suspected that he was hardly the sort of man to get on with one who thought buying a wolf for her fur was by any means an acceptable transaction. Perhaps Azrael himself hardly cared for those supernatural beings outside his own species and yet even he was inclined to admit that this....place was....horrific. Vampires always did tend to believe they were above others. Why God afforded them such strength and speed and power he hardly knew. As if those fangs were not enough of a fucking weapon. Let alone those affinities they tended to wield in turn. Corrupt. All of them. This very place hardly helping to increase his opinion. The sudden press of Raven's voice saw his gaze drop suddenly downward. The wolf insisting it was hardly Sera he had to worry about but rather, Tobias, her husband who would have taken the most offense at her impending demise. Azrael content to scowl momentarily in thought before shrugging his shoulders.

"I think I could take Tobias. Maybe not if he decides to tag team with Tetradore. As for a million dollars, i'm pretty sure there is more than one vampire here that thinks a million dollars is pocket change and has spent more then that or something dumber than a pet."

They looked the type to impulse purchase. All of them. Azrael content to follow the those amongst the crowd who were heading down that ramp and to the, well, storage space he supposed, down below. The Hunter careful to keep an eye on Raven all the same least someone else in the crowd decide to take a fancy to his girlfriends familiar. In the least, no one else had taken an interest in him. That area beneath the warehouse was dark even to his own superior vision. Those lanterns doing little more then casting a dim glow on the space right in front of them. Hmm. Maybe it was a ploy to try and sell more. Dim lighting. Bright lights he suspected were only going to show how....sick some of these people were. The humans, he suspected, likely to be suffering the most without any true ability to heal. Some of those other species at least appeared healthy enough despite the fear that seemed to grip most of them. Several others having decided all out aggression was the best method. How little he cared for supernatural species, how many of them he'd killed in his own time and yet this place gave even him an uncomfortable feeling. Azrael determined not to look at as many of those people as he could. Raven was right. They really couldn't save any of them. At least not tonight. His jaw setting in a hard line- before someone all but collided with him. That irritation within him sparked readily. Those words already upon his lips before he caught himself. The pair content to eye each other for a moment before it became clear Azrael had thought better off yelling. Shame really, he was so good at yelling too. The vampire continued on then, only to suddenly stumble backward, that feeling of power from the wolf beside him readily seeing Azrael reach down to shove her forward. His voice a furious whisper.

"Fang! Keep your goddamn powers to yourself!"

Maybe he'd created a scene by yelling, but outright assaulting a vampire was a damn faster way to get them in trouble. Azrael content to grumble as they continued down those rows upon rows of cages. The Hunter almost determined to keep his eyes forward and yet he'd already considered the larger picture. Someone, somewhere, was supplying these people. Most likely it was far more than one someone. Still, there had to be someone in charge of the larger operation and unless they stopped that person there was every chance that this would continue even if the building itself was raided by the Council. Hmm. Maybe he could look through that catalogue later for a company name or.....something that might provide some sort of answer. His gaze shifted down to Raven once more as she spoke. Azrael readily considering the words. Her suggestions, he supposed, could be true. Some of the beings here perhaps the result of someone selling them out as some act of revenge and yet there were far, far too many to presume they had all merely fallen afoul of another. Someone, he suspected, was actively capturing....innocent beings. The Hunter musing upon those thoughts a moment before responding.

"To an extent, I suppose- but the Council pays even rouge Hunters for bringing wanted people in. They wouldn't need to sell them here. Although the Council only takes Wanted suspects, if whoever runs this pays for every supernatural being a Hunter or Vampire brings in there would be more money to be made. I don't know enough about how this works but....I might be able to find out."

Some level of research, it seemed, was going to be needed. Azrael glancing upward then at the sound of that roaring lion before turning away once more. Raven making an equal effort to look the other way as they strode further and further down those corridors. The blond man near struggling not to glance to either side as he moved to fish his phone from his pocket, gesturing for Raven to follow once more as they headed further and further into the darkness and towards those cages at the back and away from the majority of the crowd. Several of the alleyways down here entirely vacant. Most vampires not having reached this far down the line yet.

"They'll take my word for it. I can order the investigation myself but a few photographs won't hurt to convince some of the others on the Council with me. Keep a look out will you, tell me if someone's coming."

Raven's superior sense of smell and hearing, let alone sight in this darkness would surely come in useful for that wouldn't it? Azrael attempting to angle that phone towards several of the cages then, the ones with more light, to allow those pictures to be taken. The Hunter quick to snap several shots before tucking the phone back into his pocket and peering down that corridor again.

"C'mon, lets get out of here while we still can."

His own stride picked up then, Azrael making sure Raven was close once more before weaving in and out of those vampires and handful of Hunters to head for the exit. His feet barely having touched that ramp when that voice from behind him called out. Azrael turning to eye an older looking vampire man. "What were you doing back there? We don't allow photography." This- was not an ideal part of his plan.

"I was taking a photograph to send my....boss."

Well. It wasn't exactly a lie. He was his own boss. Those he worked with the equivalent to bosses in one way or another. That sentence more a debatable truth then an outright lie which allowed it to fall from his lips all the same. Azrael offering that answer with a simple confidence. The vampire seeming to debate that answer for a few moments still. "Im going to need to see the photos just to make sure." He held his hand out, waiting for that phone. Azrael hesitating once more. His phone had far, far more information upon it then he was willing to simply hand over to a vampire. There was every chance, after all, the man might scroll through more of those photos else access his messages. Hell, there was a chance the Leech might actually steal his phone along with the Council information contained within it. God he didn't need this. He didn't want this.

"Fang- cover your eyes."

He afforded Raven barely a moment to do just that. A sudden, brilliant flash of light aimed towards the vampire then. The man yelping readily as he aimed to cover his eyes from that flash. That light aimed not to harm the vampire but to simply blind him temporarily. Azrael reaching out quickly to grab the vampires arm.

"Looks like you've got something in your eye, let me help you over here."

He shifted quickly, guiding that stumbling blind vampire down the ramp and toward a pile of crates, several other vampires eyeing him curiously and yet.....how thankful he was for vampires lack of compassion toward each other. Azrael hurrying up the ramp back to Raven then.

"Walk as quickly as you can and don't look back. If anyone starts following us, start running."
