The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

The Ascension Center of Equitation is the epicenter of the Dark Hunter Cavalry Unit. Originally a high-class facility for show-jumping, Ascension now caters entirely to the Cavalry Unit. Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.

PhD in Plant Biology Abigail Hughes
She had to know what he was thinking. She knew him well enough by now to read his every look so it was no surprise that she looked just as ready to be down to just the two of them. She squeezed his hand as if in agreement as she waved goodbye to their friends before allowing herself to be carried to the limo. She leaned her head against his shoulder and he sighed in contentment. He was sure she was more than ready to get off her feet. Even as he sat against her in the limo, he was alreday picturing the foot massage he would be giving her once they got to their destination. The next few weeks were going to be all about them, and more importantly, her. He knew he would get a reaction out of her when he called the baby a boy, watching with twinkling eyes of mischief as she rolled her eyes and threw her head back. She told him that she chose her bridesmaids for a reason when he complained about being separated from her but he noticed the softness of her gaze and knew that she must have missed him just as much as he did her. He'd gotten so used to having her body cradled against him when he woke up each evening. The bed felt so much colder without her there. He brought his attention to her belly then, wanting to connect with the child more than ever, his child. He'd given up on knowing that it wasn't his by DNA. The coven created it within Isolt, which made it a part of her and since he loved every part of her, the child would be his as if he'd created it himself. He was determined to make it so in his mind and so he'd carefully cultivated a relationship with their child while still in her womb. He wanted him or her to have no doubt who their father was when they were born. Isolt's fingers ran through his hair as he spoke to his child, soothing him in a way nothing else did. He loved these moments with them, the two most important people in his life. She told him that the baby liked the sound of his voice, drawing his hand down to a certain part of her stomach. He lifted a brow in question right before a small kick at his hand made him gasp in wonder. His fingers spread out across her stomach, his whole body froze, too scared to move. When he felt it again, he inhaled sharply, his eyes wide as he looked up to Isolt. "Of course, he does. What's not to like?" But his expression was tender as he focused once more on her belly, continuing to have a serious conversation with them about all the activities he'll do with them. Whether it's dance, soccer, football, or cheerleading, he wanted to be a part of it all. And in between all that, he'd teach them how to survive in this harsh world. He only stopped when the limo came to a stop and the driver announced they had arrived. He grinned like a child as he looked up and opened the door, waving his hand dramatically as he helped Isolt out of the car. The sea air was sharp in his nostrils but he wouldn't have it any other way. He waited to grasp her hand before leading her down the dock and toward a beautiful sailboat dubbed "Red Goddess." He helped her onto the vessel before readying everything to sail off. It wasn't a yacht by any means but it was cozy enough with furnished living quarters and he'd already had all their important things like cloths, hygiene items, etc. delivered and put up around the space so she wouldn't be leaving any of her creature comforts behind. He let her look around as he finished off the pre-sail checks and then let the wind take them out. He'd never felt so free as he did out on the ocean. He only hoped she would love it too. Especially when she found out just how free she was truly going to be after tonight. |
