You know, I'm honestly not ashamed to admit it, but that stuff in the bucket was some pretty good stuff. I would be happy to eat that stuff out of a bucket any day of the week. Well, maybe not always in a bucket, I mean I'd be happy to eat off a plate. Heading over towards the Fae I gently place my muzzle at the top of his head, nuzzling him, finding his hair actually tickling my nose. As his fingers slide up my nose and forehead. Oh, but then he settles right behind my ear and trails down my neck, and oh my god he is getting the itches again! Moving my nose from his head I happily lower my head farther, letting him continue to pet underneath my mane, taking care of all those itches. Nickering softly I close my eyes for a moment, quite content, see this is heaven. Being fed, being petted, all those itches being taken care of, yep this sure is heaven. I could get use to something like this. I could see why Darius stays as a horse and never really talks anymore. There's no need when people take care of you.
Oh he speaks. Both ears twitch forward as I settle my head against his chest, one eye opening up as his fingers continue to stroke my neck. Oh look at that he doesn't seem bothered that I'm messing up his hair. I guess that's kind of nice other horses have messed with his hair. I would be happy to take a sandwich. I mean I ate a bucket of stuff that magically appeared, the sandwich should be safe. Besides he made the sandwiches himself, all the way in France, well how about that. That's pretty fancy. I can feel his hands start to slide up the other side of my neck I had no idea I had an itch there, but now I do! I'm not surprised other Weres complimented him on his scent. But if Vampires like his smell too that is a little bit disturbing. I snort in disproval. I hope I don't smell appetizing to anyone, ever. Pulling my head away from him slightly I look down at him as he starts to speak. I can't help, but nod in agreement at the mention of Dark Hunters and their instincts. Don't judge a book by its cover.
You know I'm actually quite impressed he's carrying on a conversation with me. Almost as if I actually spoke to him, because I didn't speak to him, haha I didn't. Wait a minute. I didn't talk to him. Snorting softly I start to take a few steps back, a bit unsure. Horses can't talk. If I open my mouth nothing comes out unless it's a horse sound. Stomping my front hoof into the ground I stand there for a moment with both ears pointed towards him. How did he know what I was thinking in my head? I didn't tell him he had a very nice smell and I didn't ask him where the sandwiches came from. Shaking my head I turn to the left and just start to circle around him, keeping my eyes and ears on him. So, how is he responding to me? This doesn't make any sense. He makes food magically appear and now he can communicate with horses...wait that's it! He's a horse whisperer. That's what he is! That's why he can understand me. Squealing I quickly make my way over towards him, forgetting for a moment that my hooves are quite big and they are stomping around his legs. Shoving my face into his face I stare at him straight in the eye, having no idea my mind is pressing into his again.
"You're a horse whisper?! That's what you are, yea?! You can talk to horses. That's why Alexander keeps you close, that's why he made you his second? He keeps the Dark Hunters in line and as his horse whisperer, you keep us horses in line. I bet you taught him everything he knows!"
Ah, this is funny and this is great. Now I know why Alexander the Great has the fancy Frency Fae. Man, this guy just gets better and better! I liked him before, but now, I really like him! Oh, yes, he did ask me a question, and I should answer him. Pressing my forehead into his own so he can better understand what I'm saying I happily reply to his question. Although I really hope he isn't offended by my answer.
"Well, you see Dark Hunters already don't really like us. They hunt us and kill supernatural creatures, because that's their job and what they are made to do. So, I'd say their threat level is pretty high. Then you have Vampires. Vampires need blood, and well, you can't live without your blood, so you know they aren't what I'd consider friendly. Witches know potions, curses, and they can do other witchery things. I even heard some can manipulate the elements, like fire, would you want to be roasted alive? Nope, I think not. Then you have us Weres and well I'm just a horse, but those Weres that are apex predators, I wouldn't want to be left alone with them. I heard some of them don't have control over themselves when they change, and I don't have a desire to be eaten. And then there is your kind, I've never heard of your kind being dangerous before. So, what should I know about your kind? Would you consider your kind dangerous?"
