The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

Here the Dark Hunters learn how to ride and fight upon the backs of horses - many of which are Were's themselves.

Hyde Place takes up a large part of the Southern side of the city and includes a large playground, several fountains, and a small garden. The park is open from five in the morning till midnight though many shady characters may visit this place while it's technically "closed". The park has also been a venue for several concerts and hosts many holiday-related events. Under a full moon, witches are often seen here for the sacred ground beneath the iconic Weeping Beech.
The Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium (PDZA) is an award-winning combined zoo and aquarium located within the Southern Part of Sacrosanct. Situated on 92 acres in Sacrosanct's Hyde Park, the zoo and aquarium are home to over 9,000 specimens representing 367 animal species. Beyond the city limits and over the bridge lies the deep, dark, and almost impenetrable forest. Often seen as a way to guard this magical city against the world that surrounds it, many are entirely ignorant of the evil that may creep between those tree trunks. Many were-creatures use the forest for the transformations of their newest members and some even take to hunting here. It isn't particularly peculiar for people to go missing within this forest but once you get through, the rest of the world awaits.
The University of Sacrosanct offers some of the top programs in the nation with its outstanding campus and specialized faculty. Frost's return from his business trip did little to ease Nadya's original stress about his feelings towards her. Neither could seem to successfully express how the miscarriage had effected them. She had no idea how to behave around him anymore. As a result the twins became more and more her world with their small bodies cuddled against her at night, wedged between the couple, creating an even more physical gap between her and Frost.
That final morning she watched Frost step out and turned to her phone to make plans with her parents regarding Christmas. Perhaps later she would have her mother to thank for the result. During the conversation her mother had questioned about Frost, wasn't he joining? Nadya had given a long pause before emptying her feelings out over the phone. Her mother was quiet on the other end before she uttered simply, "Just show him." "What?" "Show him, Nadya, show him why he chose you. Show him why he should continue to choose you." Nadya was left feeling a bit better after hanging up the phone. She could do this. Nadya dropped the twins off at school, got changed, gathered everything needed into the picnic basket and set out into the woods.
Nadya was confident that no other being would bother them as the small waterfall was so close to the edge of their territory. She ensured everything was set out as it should be before sending her mate the text to meet her. Half the anxiety was if he would even show. At least that first step would let her know how far gone they truly were from each other. The cool breeze nipped at her skin causing goosebumps to raise along her arms beneath the lacy material of the sleeves as she tucked her knees to her chest in wait for Frost. She absently rubbed her arms to warm them a bit. If she had been wanting to be practical she would have worn more than just her summer's dress but this was about showing her beauty off for Frost. This was about reminding him why he chose her.
That sounds of someone approaching pulled her attention away from her own inner thoughts to the figure that stepped through. The sight of her mate gave her hope. He had shown up. Nadya offered a nervous but gentle smile at his words. She shifted to bring her knees under her, gesturing to the array upon the blanket, "Except this time I didn't have the help of a certain wolf." It was a gentle tease as she had later found out from Scarlet that the wolf had put together and laid out the spread before Frost had gotten to the park with Nadya that night. It had honestly been endearing when she had found out.
Nadya shrugged slightly as she tucked a stray lock of her long hair behind her ear. Feeling those warm tendrils creep over her before wrapping around her body like a comforting hug soothed her nerves. It was amazing what some warmth could do for the feline. "It's been a while since we've gotten to be away from...everything. Just...the two of us." Even when they were in Iceland it had been with the overshadowing of evading capture and then the pack or the twins or their work always got in the way. "Here, I made your favorite kale salad." Nadya leaned over to place the container in front of Frost, ensuring he got a lovely view down her shirt at the swells of her breasts before leaning back on her knees. "I'm just glad you were able to make it. You've been working so much lately." She plucked a grape from her spread and popped it into her mouth.
