South

The southern part of the city has a chic family-oriented sort of charm to it. Here, small locally owned shops run rampant, neighbors often know each other by name, and the monthly socials are an event not to be missed. In the South, children can often be seen safely playing in the park or on sidewalks and in the weekends, families often take to the beach to enjoy the warm waters surrounding the city.

the truth will set you free...
but first it will make you miserable

A normal person might feel a bit embarrassed by cutting into a conversation. A normal person might apologize for it, but Issy was not a normal person. Questions were in her blood. They couldn't be stopped and they couldn't wait. Well, technically they could, but she had already waited so long for this charade to start and end. Politics were a field that bored her to tears and she had never been one to enjoy a good speech. Before she could deduce what it was, Dareios offers his politician smile, turning his attention to her, and she turns her own vibrant attention back to him. Isadore was like a hawk, honed in on prey, though part of her felt a slight bit nervous to be interviewing a vampire. Do you have any statement you'd like to make about that or about the safety of the west side?" She pauses for only a breath, a dog with a bone, intense eyes on him. "From my research, another body in similar condition was found a month ago in a city nearby. What are your thoughts on a serial killer running loose?"

The last bit was added because she wanted to see how he would react. After all, they were surrounded by other people, and here she was hinting there might be a vampire on the lose to the mayor who was one. It was a risky move, but calculated in that she felt safe enough to ask with all the other people milling nearby. Besides, the facts were the facts...
